Buffets are set-up in Evelyn Commons, while a full service bar is available in Adele Commons. Evins Mill will furnish, set-up and break-down tables, linens, chairs and serving ware for up to 125 guests.

The Grand Lodge provides a cozy and warm setting not only for rehearsal dinners & reception meals but also for the festive traditions that often accompany them, including the cutting of the cake, toasts and roasts, the first dance and the toss of the garter! Exclusive Property Rental

Events booked more than four months in advance require exclusive rental, which extends from noon/3:00 p.m. on the day of arrival to noon/3:00 p.m. on the day of departure and includes…
exclusive use of the Grand Lodge, including Millstone Landing, Adele Commons, Evelyn Commons, Stone Room, Taylor Hall and Manning & Ivy Overlooks
exclusive use of the Gristmill, including Davidson Room, Knox Room & Cortland Game Hall
exclusive access to the entire forty acre property, featuring waterfalls, trails, streams & multiple outdoor ceremony locations
bridal suite w/ pampered extras, including a gift basket, use of waffle weave robes, a rose in a ribbon-wrapped vase and  hearty breakfast for two
the remaining eleven rooms at significantly reduced rates

The price to reserve the Inn exclusively is based on the  food service provided at the reception, and in the case of the two-day rental, the rehearsal dinner too, which is in turn a function of the number of guests and the menu selected. If no food service is requested for example, the rental fee is the full $3,000 to $5,000. That fee is discounted however, even to the point of being waived, as the food order increases.

Lodging
With exclusive rental, Evins Mill holds its remaining eleven rooms exclusively for guests of the bride and groom. The Bed & Breakfast Plan  is our standard lodging package and includes one night’s accommodations with a hearty gourmet breakfast and omelet station for two. The Bridal Suite excepted, rooms and breakfast are not included in the rental price but are available at a 50% discounted rate, or $100.  A few notes on the accommodations and pricing…

Furnishing & Facilitation
Our furnishing & facilitation fee is $15 per person, is based on a minimum of 50 guests, is capped at 100 guests and includes...
provision of chairs, linens, servingware and other standard wedding accoutrements for up to 125 guests
set-up and break-down for indoor or outdoor ceremonies and receptions at designated locations
pre-event consultation & on-site coordination with our event facilitator 
additional grounds and facility clean-up on days preceding wedding
For weddings with more than 175 guests, there is an additional rental expense depending on the number of additional chairs, tables, linens and tents the Inn will need to rent.

Food & Beverage
Pricing for food & beverage service is the single most significant pricing variable and will depend on the menu selected. Moderately priced reception or rehearsal dinner menus however start around $25 and go up from there. A few notes on food & beverage service at the Inn...
With the exception of the wedding cake, Evins Mill is the exclusive on-site provider of food & beverage service.
Tea, coffee, lemonade and ice water come with all food orders.
A complimentary beverage station is provided in the Main Lodge from arrival through departure.
Sodas and alcoholic beverages are available but are not included.
Breakfast for two is included in the price of every room.
A 20% service charge applies to all food & beverage orders.

Please also note that entry into the swimming hole referenced above should be exercised with caution, as rocks around it may be slippery. No life guard is ever on duty. Guests hike and swim at their own risk and are encouraged to use caution and good judgment.

For many guests, dining at Evins Mill is the highlight of the experience. Unlike a traditional bed & breakfast, Evins Mill is a full service Inn, fielding a full chef and wait staff and offering not only breakfast but dinner & lunch as well, with break & bar service in between. Whether it's an individual couple, a family reunion or "big chill" weekend, a small corporate group or a large wedding party, the Inn's cuisine is prepared with just the right touch and served in just the right setting, making it an inviting location for...

Meal & Break Service
While most dinners are five-courses, featuring appetizers, soup, salad, entrée and dessert, our chefs also prepare reception buffets and festive cedar porch cookouts on designated holidays and upon group request. Midday meals are typically box lunches, though as with dinner, indoor buffets  or outdoor cookouts are also available upon group request. With a few exceptions, breakfast is served buffet style.

While the Inn primarily serves its overnight guests, reservations for  dinner, breakfast, lunch and holiday brunches are welcome as available by advance arrangement. And while groups of ten people or more may pre-select one entrée for each meal, the Inn's chefs provide individual couples with a choice of two dinner entrees in the evening, a breakfast buffet in the morning and the option of a picnic box lunch or a seated three-course lunch. Ellen Loveless, CRM, NMD, LMT, Cht
Ellen received her bachelor degree in art from Prairie Sate College in Illinois before moving to Tennessee in 1980. Ellen also attended Tennessee Technology University, where she majored in Geology. Ellen later worked for the Tennessee State Park System as a Naturalist before joining the Tennessee Army National Guard fulltime. Before becoming a licensed Massage Therapist, Ellen became a Certified Reiki Master, as well as a Certified Master Crystologist in Taomchi crystal work.

From late spring to early fall, organically grown Tennessee wildflowers mixed with culinary and medicinal herbs may also be available.

In addition the spa services and romantic amenities that are oriented toward individual couples, Evins Mill can also arrange for a number of entertaining and enriching group activities, including murder mysteries, live folk music, story telling and team building programs. Team Building Programs
Evins Mill offers team-building facilitation through its partnership with Adventureworks, Inc. Based in Kingston Springs, Tennessee, Adventureworks operates a satellite ropes course at Evins Mill. The company offers experience-based learning programs, using outdoor challenges to affect change and growth within groups.

Murder Mysteries
In conjunction with Out On A Limb Productions, Evins Mill offers a wide variety of quality entertainment experiences. Backed by a group of area professionals, a variety of original and custom-designed scripts, and creative effects, Out on a Limb has perfected the art of improvisational murder mysteries. Audience participation is encouraged - guests listen to actors’ conversations and mingle with the cast. Parodies of people on the guest list can be arranged.

Professional Story Telling
Through the Jonesboro Storytellers Guild, Evins Mill can provide guests with humorous, moving, or tall tales of professional and amateur bards and storytellers.

Music Performances
As Smithville plays host every July 4th weekend to the premier bluegrass festival in the country, it’s only fitting that Evins Mill would offer guests live musical entertainment – be it down home bluegrass al a the  Clyde Nokes Band, soothing piano a la Tomomi McDowell or melifluous accoustic guitar a la Gene Maxwell.
