The Calico Inn Bed and Breakfast is ideally situated in Sevierville, Tennessee, about 2 miles off the main highway into Pigeon Forge and Gatlinburg. It rests on 25 rolling acres—just minutes from all the sightseeing, shopping and entertainment our area has to offer—yet is tucked away in the Great Smoky Mountains.

Each guest room is decorated with unique country charm that embraces you as you walk through the door. Calico Inn is located 2 miles off US Highway 441 between Sevierville and Pigeon Forge. Take New Era Road (keep to the right at all times) approximately 2 miles to Ranch Road. Turn left on Ranch Road, go to third driveway on right, then go to the top of the hill. You're just minutes from Dollywood, Smoky Mountains National Park, shopping and entertainment adventures. And best of all, you'll take pleasure in knowing the quiet of Calico Inn awaits you each time you return to it.

Friends on a Mission Cookbook

The unique thing about this cookbook is its purpose. All monies go toward Africa missions. The Innkeepers at Calico Inn have a daughter, Amy on the mission field in South Africa. The idea of a cookbook came as an idea to get people involved in helping people beyond their normal reach and still have a useful product in the process. With 88 contributors and over 565 recipes, the $15.00 cost plus (3.50 postage and packaging) is a good deal no matter how you slice it!

Great Room

This is where all the guests gather when it is too cool to sit on the front porch rockers or swing. Its log-burning fireplace has warmed the heart of many of our guests. You can sit and chat with other guests, watch a DVD, read a favorite book, or just sit quietly in front of the fire and let your imagination wander.

The Kitchen

The Calico Inn’s kitchen welcomes you to homemade cookies, brownies or cakes that the Schaeffers always have on hand. Sometimes the guests sit around the table sipping coffee or tea, or sit and play a board game or cards. You’ll always smell something cooking or baking, and are guaranteed a homemade treat after a full day out in the Smokies.

Dining Room

The dining room is large in size to make everyone feel comfortable. It has an antique, black cast iron stove which always holds a pot of coffee or tea, just waiting for you to wake up. It’s there for you to help yourself again, inviting you to come back for more.

Back Deck

The deck has seasonal chaise lounges for your relaxation and a patio table for added comfort and convenience. You may even want to take a morning hike or a nice, leisurely walk before you sit down to a delicious breakfast.

IF TRAVELING SOUTH ON 441:
Proceed to New Era Rd., which is top light 13.1 in Servierville. This is the first light past the Super Walmart on the right. You'll be turning RIGHT between the Olive Garden and Red Lobster. GO 1.6 miles to a stop sign and bear RIGHT. Go 0.4 miles and turn LEFT on Ranch Way. (You will se the Baptist Fellowship Building on the right side of the road). Go to 3rd driveway and turn RIGHT; you will see the Bed & Breakfast sign. Follow road to the top of the until until you are home!

IF TRAVELING NORTH ON 441:
From Pigeon Forge, New Era Road is directly across from Tanger Outlets and the Nascar Race Track. Turn LEFT onto New Era Road at traffic light 13.1 and follow directions above.
