We have built by design a truly unique one of a kind experience in the Smoky Mountains that is unlike and other Gatlinburg Bed and Breakfast, Pigeon Forge Bed and Breakfast or Sevierville Bed and Breakfast. There is something truly energizing about shaping a distinctive property so that it gels and shines likes it surroundings. We have achieved this as well as remarkable service with a team of professionals that understand what relaxation and creating memories is all about.

Upon entering Ancient Oaks, you will first take notice of this large seating area with African artifacts and decor. In the corner you will find a large piano and telescope for nature viewing amongst the many miles of wooded views. Additional areas to relax include the upper deck featuring 2 large seating areas, hot tubs, surround sound, adjustable lighting controls, state of the art cooking grill, smoker and also a heater for those chilly nights.

About Chef George Lovell
The majority of Chef George Lovell's military career was centered on food service and management, and returned to the food industry in 1996. After years of working with Chefs Paul Prudome, Alex Patout and Gigi Patout, Chef George has acquired a unique ability and creativity as a chef.

Chef George Lovell was originally from Houma, Louisiana and raised in New Orleans. He relocated to East Tennessee following Hurricane Katrina. We are pleased that he is with us at Ancient Oaks Bed & Breakfast. We know you will enjoy his traditional recipes, as well as his own creations.

Breakfast on the Terrace
Enjoy your morning coffee and hot breakfast out on the terrace while enjoying the view and listening to the birds sing.

Romantic Dinners
With prior notice, you can enjoy a romantic in-room dinner prepared by Chef George. Due to the wide variety of personal preferences, we find our guests prefer to bring their own spirits. We are more than happy to provide everything else that goes with it.

Fitness Center
Fitness Center - stay in shape and work up a sweat with our Bowflex Ultimate Exercise machine and Diamondback Eclipse machine in the workout room. This room also features an exercise ball, 37 inch flat screen TV, sound system, massage chair and tanning bed.

Business Center
The business center is available on the main level just past the front door on the left. Phone, fax and WiFi available.

Game Room (The Pub)

The game room is for the enjoyment of all our guests. Please stroll downstairs and check out our 1500 square feet space set up for fun. All you could ask for: air hockey, ping pong, regulation size pool table, basketball, slot machine, pinball machine and foosball table. There's also plenty of seating for a game of cards or just relaxing. Fix yourself a drink at our custom granite and wood carved bar.

Theater Room - equipped with a large roll down theater screen and projector system that will make you feel like you are at the movies! The surround sound system will surely impress and add an element to your cinematic experiences. This room provides the ultimate in relaxation with reclining seating for five. Bring your own DVDs or browse through our movie collection wall. Oh, and we can't forget the popcorn! Just outside the theater room you will find a real kettle popcorn machine.

Outdoor Pleasures
Over 90 acres of private hiking trails, hike up and down the 1 mile lighted driveway, view the beautiful landscaping and rose garden and other flora amongst the estate grounds featuring water fountains. Enjoy a peaceful campfire, roast marshmallows or just enjoy the stunning evening sky and relax in a swinging hammock.

Ready to explore? Ask about our hiking trails which cover over 90 acres of private land. Take a romantic evening hike along the lit driveway. Be sure to ask in advance and we will have Chef George prepare a boxed lunch for you.
