and awe-inspiring sunsets visible from its many porches and decks. Located on the scenic Harpeth River, fishing, canoeing excursions, the Narrows of the Harpeth State Recreation Area and the "pretty little town of Pegram" are available within five minutes of this natural playground. Many of nature's amenities are just minutes away - the northern terminus of the Natchez Trace Parkway, Newsome's Mill State Park, Montgomery Bell State Park, the Cumberland River, Cheatham Lake, Cheatham Wildlife Preserve and some of the best country-cooking restaurants in the state!
Chigger Ridge can also be reserved for weddings, parties, meetings, conferences and retreats. The 26-foot screened gazebo is complete with a sink, refrigerator, ice maker and ceiling fans. Plan a daytime social gathering with the scenic beauty as a backdrop. The festive lighting of the gazebo makes it ideal for evening entertainment.

The Main House
The Main House is a 5800 square foot western cedar log home, featuring large rooms, the Honeymoon Suite, the Main House bedroom, vaulted ceilings, skylights, natural stone fireplaces, and porches everywhere. The Great Room is two stories high, dominated by a natural stone fireplace. The open staircase ascends to balconies which overlook the Great Room inviting you to come and make yourself at home.
The huge dining room has a vaulted ceiling with skylights, spacious windows and french doors overlooking the wooded countryside.
After breakfast you will surely want to breathe in more of our fresh, country air from the comfort of a rocking chair while ceiling fans blow a cool breeze through the screened-in porch.
The Guest House
The private board and batten Guest House features multi-level decks and is a complete three bedroom beautifully furnished home with vaulted ceilings, ceiling fans, and skylights. Shown above is a couple enjoying the rocking chairs on one of the decks.
This Guest House bedroom, one of three, features a hand stenciled white iron bed, desk/dresser, and loveseat; lots of lace, wicker, and decorative art items such as a batik unicorn and magnolia oil painting.
The Guest House Great Room is large enough to accommodate a meeting of 50-79 people and features a vaulted ceiling, skylights, ceiling fan, antique oak dining table with ladder back chairs, queen sleeper sofa, daybed, easy chairs, fireplace with wood stove, the innkeepers Southwest collection of baskets, kachinas, pottery and art.
The interior beauty of the Chigger Ridge Guest House is rivaled by the scenic beauty which surrounds it, easily visible from the multi-level decks.

You'll fall in love with the magnificent beauty of Chigger Ridge. Wild turkeys, deer, rabbits, birds and other wildlife abound. Pull out your binoculars, your camera and your hiking boots! There are miles of wandering trails to explore the natural beauty of Cheatham County. Heartier souls may want to climb to the breathtakingly beautiful, 25-foot waterfall. The Gazebo, shown here in winter, easily holds 50 people sitting at tables. It it screened-in and has ceiling fans and a misting system to beat the heat.
Amenities include a center island suitable for a large buffet, a refrigerator, a sink and icemaker.
The Gazebo has hosted church retreats, weddings, reunions, business getaways and many other events.
