Great Room

The Main House is a 5800 square foot western cedar log home, featuring large rooms, vaulted ceilings, skylights, natural stone fireplaces, and porches everywhere. The Great Room is two stories high, dominated by a natural stone fireplace. The open staircase ascends to balconies which overlook the Great Room inviting you to come and make yourself at home.

This Honeymoon Suite bedroom is larger than most bedrooms & has a separate sitting room. The queen size four poster brass bed sets on a luxuriously plush deep burgundy carpet. Not visible in the picture are a sofa, big easy chair, beautiful antique dresser, a collection of pottery and original art works. The suite has a separate sitting area with a game table, sofa, daybed with trundle, satellite television and a luxurious bath with Jacuzzi tub & stained glass windows.

This Main House room features an antique oak queen size bed with a cut lace duvet over a down comforter. The room is furnished in lace, wicker, and antiques. Not visible in the picture are two antique needle work and lace European bed shams, a shelf with delicate china, tables, a wicker love seat and wicker easy chair. The bath features hand painted tiles. Satellite television is available in this room.

The huge dining room has a vaulted ceiling with skylights, spacious windows and french doors overlooking the wooded countryside.

After breakfast you will surely want to breathe in more of our fresh, country air from the comfort of a rocking chair while ceiling fans blow a cool breeze through the screened-in porch.

• Children 10 and over are welcome. We are not equipped to accommodate the needs of younger children and infants in the Main House, but they are welcome in the guest house.

The private board and batten Guest House features multi-level decks and is a complete three bedroom beautifully furnished home with vaulted ceilings, ceiling fans, and skylights. Shown above is a couple enjoying the rocking chairs on one of the decks.

This Guest House bedroom, one of three, features a hand stenciled white iron bed, desk/dresser, and loveseat; lots of lace, wicker, and decorative art items such as a batik unicorn and magnolia oil painting.

The Guest House Great Room is large enough to accommodate a meeting of 50-79 people and features a vaulted ceiling, skylights, ceiling fan, antique oak dining table with ladder back chairs, queen sleeper sofa, daybed, easy chairs, fireplace with wood stove, the innkeepers Southwest collection of baskets, kachinas, pottery and art.

The interior beauty of the Chigger Ridge Guest House is rivaled by the scenic beauty which surrounds it, easily visible from the multi-level decks.
