    The Big Bungalow Bed and Breakfast offers guests the perfect opportunity to experience the best that Music City has to offer from its ideal location minutes from downtown Nashville in the trendy East Nashville neighborhood.

    Established in the 1900s in historic Edgefield, you’ll find perfect access to all of the charm that makes her location a sight to see. The Country Music Hall of Fame, the famous Ryman Auditorium, LP Field (home of the TN Titans), Tootsie’s Orchid Lounge and lower Broadway are all just over a mile from The Big Bungalow Bed and Breakfast. The Opryland Hotel, Bluebird Café, Vanderbilt University, and a myriad of other attractions are just minutes by car.

    Every day, you can enjoy homemade breakfasts and excellent hospitality. Ellen is happy to help you create the kind of vacation you will never forget, as she is knowledgeable about tourist attractions, restaurants, and being a singer/songwriter herself, has an insider’s view of all the great musical venues that Music City has to offer. She even has house concerts featuring Nashville’s incredible singer/songwriters, who perform right in her living room.

    The Big Bungalow Bed & Breakfast - Nashville, Tennessee A wonderful alternative to a hotel, this lovely home, built in the early 1900s in historic Edgefield, sits just east of the Cumberland River and downtown Nashville. Located in a vibrant community famous for its stunning houses, exquisite churches, urban flavor and cultural diversity, the Big Bungalow offers just the right mix of urban convenience and a warm, homey atmosphere.

    Truly experience Nashville - its music, history and relaxed pace - while enjoying all the amenities you'd want, plus some unique extras not found anywhere else.

    Our range is $145-$225 before tax, and includes a full hot breakfast as well as gated off street parking.

    Why do most travelers stay at your inn?

    My guest stay here because of the great location. We are located in trendy East Nashville, just minutes from downtown.

    What are you best known for? What makes your inn unique? What do you love most about your inn?

    I have been in the music business and know the insider things to do around town.

    If someone has never been to your city, what is the #1 reason to come visit?

    Nashville is know for it's great music.

    What’s the best compliment you have ever received about the inn?

    The best compliment is that I helped organize a great vacation stay in Nashville!

    What’s the best kept secret about the area?

    The Big Bungalow has "house concerts" from time to time with hip singer/songwriters that are truly the Nashville Experience.

    If a traveler is staying at your inn for 4 nights, what should he/she do in the area?

    Guests can visit any number of music venues, restaurants, and tours in the area.

    Is there anything within walking distance of your inn?

    Five points area, downtown Nashville, and lower Broadway are all within walking distance from the B&B.

    What is your favorite restaurant/food in the area?

    Some of my favorite restaurants are Sambuca, Firefly, Lockland Table and Bella Napoli Pizzeria.

    Any good area guides/websites that travelers could reference?

    No. I help my guests plan their stay in Nashville.

    I have 3 bedrooms.

Four or five songwriters sit in a circle and perform their original songs. It's your opportunity to be part of the inside music scene in Nashville - who knows, you might hear the next big country hit or meet the next big country star!

    A wide range of art, including paintings and sculpture, grace the surroundings of the Big Bungalow. Local artists are well represented - you might even decide to take a piece home for a great price
