Uniquely located near Belmont University, Peabody University, Vanderbilt University, Music Row, Lower Broadway and Historic Ryman Auditorium downtown. Also within a five minute walk is Seiver Park. A beautiful tranquil green space consisting of picnic benches, tennis & basketball courts, soccer fields and playgrounds.
My wife and I have traveled quite a bit. We have stayed in both hotels and Bed and Breakfast. We have arrived at the same conclusion. Privacy is just as important as comfort. With that in mind, the 12 South Inn Suites philosophy is to adhere to the principle of maintaining the highest standard of comfort and luxury, along with the most privacy possible in a public setting. Our suite has it's own private entrance, with private porch, and en-suite bath. Your suite comes complete with coffee maker; small fridge and microwave. It will be stocked for your pleasure with coffee, tea, juice, pastries and fruit.
The12 South Inn Suites house was built in the early 19th century by the Gibson family who owned the Greyhound Bus franchise in Nashville. They built this home in 1929. It was built in a manor so that when the family expanded, either by a marriage or a birth, they had the ability to expand the living space. When we purchased the property in 1986, we were only the second family to own this property. Having been built when the concept was to build something that was going to last forever, you will find that when you stay here the quality of construction makes for a peaceful, quiet, and secure feeling.
