East Tennessee is best known for the cities of Chattanooga and Knoxville. Near the border with Georgia, Chattanooga features a revitalized downtown, and popular attractions, including the Chattanooga Choo Choo and numerous Civil War battlefield parks.

Benefits of Membership
Joining with many others all across the state has so many personal and business benefits that it is hard just to list them. Whether you are already in the inn business. . .aspiring to become an inn owner and manager. . .or providing services and products to our member inns, check out the categories below.
Regular Members
Our Regular Members are those on the operating line! Membership is given by inn, but the individuals associated with its ownership and operation are really the ones who benefit in information and social exchange.
Each member gets a complete listing on our association's web site with extensive promotional copy, photos and a list of nearby attractions along with a link to their own web sites. Members can access their own page on our site at any time and make necessary changes, corrections and additions. We ask that members participate in our Events and Recipes pages, too, by adding information that relates to their business.
We have special lists for the members who want to promote to the wedding or meeting market as well. Cost is but $25 a year to add these listings!
Our Quality Assurance Program provides standards for operations and a biennial inspection of the property to help members see their inns with help from our experienced inspectors. And our guests know that we all maintain the top quality in accommodations anywhere!
Our special promotions include our participation in the State of Tennessee Department of Tourism Development's multi-million dollar, multi-year national promotion on the state's vital and extensive role in the Civil War. As we approach the 150th Centennial Celebration, we led with an ad in History Channel magazine proclaiming our theme: "Bivouac at a B&B. The Generals did!"
The Gift Certificate program promotes widespread use of our member inns, too, by providing the highly flexible $25 certificates. We have people from all over the United States buying them for families and friends, for birthdays, anniversaries and simple get-aways.
Our Annual Meetings present an educational opportunity with scheduling of topics of current interest and presentations by experts in our field. The social opportunity associated with these meetings provides plenty of time for exchanging information and opinions with fellow innkeepers.
We will also issue a periodic newsletter, special event notices and more information essential to the on-going information flow for operators of high quality B&B's.
