Peregrine Pointe Bed & Breakfast

A contemporary getaway for those looking for simple relaxation and quiet pleasures. Peregrine Pointe Bed and Breakfast, just outside of Rapid City, South Dakota, is located in the middle of 15 acres of pristine forest which is available to all guests for hiking, bird watching, etc. It is also centrally located to all forms of Black Hills recreational activities, touring and shopping.

The lodge has an open, casual atmosphere. Much of the home is decorated with unpretentious mission furnishings which invite you to leave all cares at the gate, put your feet up and relax. "Peregrine" is a Latin word which means wanderer, nomadic, roving, tending to travel.

We are centrally located to all forms of Black Hills recreational activities:
Mt. Rushmore, Crazy Horse Bear Country, Reptile Gardens,
Rushmore Cave and most other major attractions.

The rooms are decorated with artifacts, pictures and information collected from Eileen and Warren's travel all over the world complete with explanations. All of the Peregrine Pointe Rooms have queen beds, private baths, with both shower and jetted spa tubs. Each room is separately air conditioned in the summer. Each room has an efficient ceiling fan and a private exit to a deck. All rooms have double dead-bolt locks and are very comfortable. The entire lodge has free WiFi capability. The extensive library in the lower level, which is available to all, reflects an avid love of both reading and travel. Resident pets include various sizes of dogs.

• Reservations are held with a Visa or MasterCard deposit of 50% of your stay or full amount for one night stay.
• Deposits must be received 10 days prior to arrival date. Balance is due upon arrival.
• Cancellations: Deposits will be refunded less a $25 handling fee if cancellation is 10 or more days before arrival date.
• For shorter notice, a refund will be given less $25 handling fee only if the room is re-booked for the same dates.
• No refunds available during the Sturgis Motorcycle Rally or other special events.
• Rates: $110 to $160.
• Children 10 and over are welcome for an additional charge of $30 each sharing a double occupancy room.
• Sales tax will be added.
• Rates are subject to change.
• Arrivals: After 4 p.m. it is suggested that you arrive before dark as the last half mile is a gravel road, plus you don't want to miss the spectacular sunsets.
• Check-out is 11 a.m.
• A full complementary breakfast is served between 8 and 9 a.m. in the dining room, out on the deck, or in your room by prior arrangement. A continental breakfast is available upon request for earlier departures. Special dietary needs accommodated upon request. Beverages and dessert, homemade cookies or appetizers are served between 5 and 6 p.m. each day. Homemade cookies and picnic lunches are available with advance notice for an additional fee. We do not have a license to sell liquor. You may bring your own.

Peregrine Pointe Bed and Breakfast is seven (7) miles southwest of Rapid City off of Sheridan Lake Road (Highway 228). Driving from Rapid City, take Jackson Blvd. (Highway 44) west. Turn left on Sheridan Lake Road. Or follow Highway 16, Mt. Rushmore Road, south to Catron Blvd. Turn right and go about 1 mile. Turn left onto Sheridan Lake Road. Approximately two miles past the Pantry Store, turn left onto Peregrine Pointe Place. Immediately take the right fork and travel one-half (1/2) mile.
