The hills are a solid part of Nemo's history and the city has remained the "Hub of the Black Hills". Spend a weekend at a Nemo inn to explore the hills and quaint city atmosphere. The Mickelson Trail is a wonderful trail to ride, bike, or horseback ride. It is a converted railroad bed that takes you through some wonderful scenery. There are places to rent bicycles if you need to in Hill City and in Custer. Another place to visit in Nemo is Black Hills Mining Museum where you can tour an underground mine. For dining, Pirates Table offers a selection of American dishes that are served in a casual dining atmosphere. For lodging, Nemo bed and breakfasts provide a wonderful eclectic experience depending on what you are looking for. There are B&Bs situated on several acres of wooded hills and in the midst of open pasturelands, ones with local hospitality and European flair, or even ones with a western style to sit and relax in the quiet beauty and enjoy the hills.
