We invite you to join us on a mini-cattle drive with your own horse. We have so many requests to join us moving cattle but not everyone has a whole week for a full blown cattle drive. So we are offering shorter one or two day mini cattle drives. These take place on the ranch, or where we are summering cattle. They involve rounding up and moving the cattle herd from one summer pasture to a new pasture. These pastures are several miles apart, so you still get plenty of riding done. The mini-cattle drive is not a grueling 4 day non-stop full fledged ride back to the ranch' by night fall type of adventure, but for more experienced riders. We can stop and stretch our legs every so often. We pack lunches. This is by special arrangement and reservation. If you have dreamed of trying your hand at 'cowboying', this would be a great introduction. $200 per horse and rider/per day. Minimum of 3 days.

OVERNIGHT STABLING: with your own living quarters, includes stabling for your horse based on availability. No hook-ups. Rate: $25 per night. Owners to care and clean up of their horses. ACCOMMODATIONS FOR BOTH HORSE AND RIDER: Minimum of 3 days. This will include your lodging and stabling for your horse. Make reservation for ranch house B&B prices and add $10 per night per horse. Owners, feed and clean up after horses. FEED & HAY Please, bring your own feed and hay. And your own water buckets. As well as extension water hoses. Salt and mineral, (your option) HEALTH PAPERS: For the safety of all horses and the required brand inspecion bring for each out-of-state horse a: Current(30) days health certificate, stating that your horse has no obvious infections and illesses. Current Coggins test. Proof of ownership for brand inspection. DOGS: Dogs must stay on a leash in camp at all times. If you do not want your dog tied, please leave them at home. All dogs should be current on their rabies vaccination, and no obvious infections or illessess.

Diggers who would rather stay out in the country, instead of a boring hotel room in town. We will customize for short or extended stay. Includes, exploring our ranch for artifacts. Local knowledge of Digs that are in the area and directions. Help seeking permission to go on other private digs. Breakfast and a packed lunch.
