Sunrise Farm Bed & Breakfast, A Country Victorian Bed and Breakfast Circa 1890, offers a "taste of country" in South Carolina's upstate region, just minutes from two crystal clear mountain lakes - Lake Jocassee and Lake Keowee. The Blue Ridge Mountains provide the backdrop for the beautifully restored circa. 1890 Victorian farmhouse and private cottages on this 10 - acre "hobby farm".

Sunrise Farm, "your country home away from home", is the perfect place to rest and get refreshed after a day of hiking the trails of Oconee County's State Parks and photographing spectacular waterfalls. Salem, SC is centrally - located to many daytrip opportunities, such as taking a stroll at the South Carolina Botanical Gardens at Clemson University, hiking the Foothills Trail, whitewater rafting on the Chattooga River, or exploring the Museum of the Upstate in Greenville, SC.

Guests of Sunrise Farm B&B may choose from spacious farmhouse bedrooms with private bathrooms and beautiful views, or private cottages with fully - equipped kitchens and gas log fireplaces. You will be served a full sumptuous breakfast, featuring all-natural ingredients, fresh local produce, and homemade specialties such as banana-chocolate chip mini muffins, fruit and yogurt parfait, blueberry pancakes, garden vegetable and herb frittata, and maple sausage.

Land of scenic lakes and waterfalls,
located in the high foothills of the Blue Ridge mountains. The northwest corner of South Carolina is known as South Carolina's Freshwater Coast because of over 1,000 miles of shoreline on Lakes Keowee, Hartwell and Jocassee.

The area is a haven for fishermen, boaters, hikers, birdwatchers and nature lovers. The area and Sunrise Farm were featured in the March/April 1995 issue of National Geographic Traveler, Southern Living May 1999, and the Nov./Dec. 2008 issue of Blue Ridge Country Magazine.

A delicious full breakfast is included with the rooms in the house. Cottage guests may purchase breakfast in the house for $10 extra per person, space permitting.

Breakfast includes fresh fruit, homemade muffins and biscuits, juice, coffee, tea and features unique entrees such as banana pecan waffles and sausage, or eggs in a basket and apple dumplings.

Come meet the new "kid" on the farm - Memphis, the baby pigmy goat. Current list of pets: llamas - Casey & Dezi; sheep - Suzy; pigmy goats - Elvis, Priscilla, & Memphis; pot bellied pig - Muffin; miniature horses - Lady & Sunshine; barn kitties - Samson, Oreo, Ginger, & Serena; and Buddy, our loveable Lhasa Apso.
