    The Red Horse Inn is located in north Greenville County, about 30 minutes from either Greenville or Spartanburg, South Carolina, and 23 miles from GSP International Airport. Breathtaking views create the perfect backdrop for your corporate retreat or corporate meeting. The environment is designed to inspire in an unconventional way.

    The Main Inn offers two large meeting rooms with generous glass doors that open onto a vine draped arbor patio. The expansive Blue Ridge Mountains can be viewed from inside as well as from the spacious patio. A garden filled courtyard with pond completes the stimulating atmosphere. In winter, a large fireplace helps to encourage imaginative thinking.

    The interior will comfortably hold 18 guests for corporate meetings. Depending upon your group's particular needs, up to 18 can be accommodated for overnight stays. Two adjoining rooms can be closed off to create two smaller break-out rooms.

    We are in the country on nearly 200 acres with miles of mountain views. Not a city in sight!

    A very particular, nit-picking guest said we far exceeded her expectations and she had never stayed in an Inn as wonderful as The Red Horse Inn. She said our attention to detail was impressive.

    There are Covered Bridges.

    See the Covered Bridges, Visit 4 Wineries, Go white water rafting, Hike to one of the 55 waterfalls, Go antiquing, Go Zip-Lining, Go horseback riding, Play golf, Listen to local music, Visit Historic points of interest.

    Is there anything within walking distance of your inn?

    We have miles of trails on the property. They can hike to our special secluded spot on Happy Trails and enjoy a prepared Picnic placed next to two Adirondack chairs.

    The Cottages

    White clapboard houses with green tin roofs dot the distant hillsides. Rocking chairs beckon to be filled by relaxing and contemplative guests. Our six charming cottages may be reserved to house those staying for overnight retreats. All of the cottages have fireplaces, one bath and can accommodate an additional person with a pull-out sofa bed.

    Five have full kitchens; the sixth cottage has a kitchenette. Five of the cottages are situated one quarter of a mile away from the main Inn. The sixth sits closer to the main Inn. All offer complete privacy. The cottages are light-filled with cathedral ceilings and large windows that frame the gorgeous mountain views. Cotton sheets, thick luxurious towels and thoughtful touches will make guests feel pampered.

    Five of the cottages are equipped with telephones and dial up Internet as well as satellite TV. All have TV's with DVD players and are air-conditioned. The cottage refrigerators can be stocked with your choice of breakfast items: jumbo muffins, egg casseroles, fresh fruit, coffee, tea and orange juice. If your group prefers, they can gather for breakfast in the main Inn dining room.

    The Inn

    Six luxurious Inn rooms surround the garden quad. Each offers privacy and comfort including fireplaces, whirlpool tubs, desks, sittings areas, TV with DVD players, telephones and wireless Internet. All rooms have a built-in kitchen closet that houses a small refrigerator, microwave and coffee maker, offering guests the convenience of having breakfast whenever they please. Two of the upstairs rooms provide private balconies.

    The downstairs room is the most luxurious room and has its own privately gated terrace. All of the Inn rooms have beautiful mountain views. Five of the rooms have king size beds; one has a queen. Each room is uniquely and beautifully decorated, providing a different atmosphere in each accommodation.

    Cottage guests or guests in the East Room must be reserved 24 hours in advance.

    Filet Mignon with Bearnaise Sauce

    Grilled beef tenderloin in a satiny Béarnaise sauce made with shallots, tarragon, onion and garlic, served with Parmesan cauliflower and green beans almandine.

    Shrimp Scampi

    Plump, fresh shrimp served on a bed of angel hair pasta with a sauce made with white wine, garlic, butter and herbs.

    Maple Dijon Chicken

    Tender chunks of chicken with wild and white mushrooms in a creamy sauce, flavored with hints of dijon and pure Vermont maple syrup, served over a flaky puff pastry shell.

    Coq au Vin

    Our variation of this French dish is made with boneless chicken cooked in Shiraz wine with mushrooms, carrots, onions, herbs and spices until tender.

    Dessert choices are light & fluffy cheesecake or rich & dark flourless chocolate torte with raspberry drizzle.

    All entrees served with salad, bread, non alcoholic beverage and dessert.

    $40 per person (filet is $50 per person).

    Tax is 10% and a 20% gratuity is added to all meals.

Other nearby attractions include Riverbend Sportsman's center, where your group can enjoy a day of shooting sporting clays, skeet or "in season" tower hunting. Not experienced? No problem, we can arrange for lessons. Want to play paintball? That, too, can be arranged. Take a stroll in our beautiful gardens on this AAA 4 Diamond property.

    Cherokee Valley and Links O' Tryon are two championship golf courses within a short drive of the Inn. Golf at Cherokee Valley and receive a discount for your golfing experience. Within a thirty-minute drive, your group can enjoy fly fishing, hiking numerous breathtaking waterfalls or recreating in nine South Carolina state parks -- several of which have large lakes that offer activities such as boating or fishing.

    Guests can relax with a massage provided by our masseuse in their room or cottage, or we can arrange a day at the spa at nearby Victoria Place Salon. For a unique and memorable business meeting or corporate retreat, we can arrange a wine tasting, a murder mystery event or a visit to one of three local wineries.     From the junction of Routes 14 and 11, go south one mile on Route 11 to Tugaloo Road. Turn left onto Tugaloo. Go one mile to N. Campbell Road. Turn left onto N. Campbell Road. Watch for the blue street sign on the left for Winstons Chase Court. Turn left onto Winstons Chase Court and follow the signs to the Inn. Welcome!

    From Greenville/Spartanburg Airport (GSP)

    1. Exit the airport
    2. Turn right at the light onto Route 14
    3. Stay on Route 14
    4. This will take you through the town of Greer (and several stop lights)
    5. Stay on this road for approximately 15 miles
    6. When you come to a 4-way blinking stop light, turn left onto Route 11 (you'll see a large gas station on your right)
    7. Go exactly one mile on Route 11
    8. Turn left onto Tugaloo Road, go exactly one mile
    9. Turn left onto N. Campbell Road, go 7/10 of a mile
    10. Watch for the blue street sign on the left for Winstons Chase Court
    11. Come up Winstons Chase Court, bear right at the fork
    12. Continue up the drive, come past the Inn and around to the far side of the Inn to park and check in

    1. Get on I-26 heading east (the sign says east, but the direction is south! Go figure)
    2. Go to Exit 1 in South Carolina (This is Route 14, Landrum, South Carolina)
    3. Turn right at the end of the exit ramp
    4. Go through town, staying on Route 14 for about 5 more miles
    5. You will come to a 4-way blinking stop light (landmark on the left is a Spinx gas station,
    6. diagonally right is the Junction Restaurant)
    7. Turn right onto Route 11, go exactly one mile
    8. Turn left onto Tugaloo Road, go exactly one mile
    9. Turn left onto N. Campbell Road, go 7/10 of a mile
    10. Watch for the blue street sign on the left for Winstons Chase Court
    11. Come up Winstons Chase Court, bear right at the fork
    12. Continue up the drive, come past the Inn and around to the far side of the Inn to park and check in

    5. The landmark you will be looking for is a 4-way blinking red light
    6. Turn left
    7. This is the junction of Route 14 and Route 11
    8. You will be on Route 11 south
    9. Go exactly 1 mile, turn left onto Tugaloo Road
    10. Go exactly 1 mile, turn left onto N. Campbell Road, go 7/10 of a mile
    11. Watch for the blue street sign on the left for Winstons Chase Court
    12. Come up Winstons Chase Court, bear right at the fork

    2. Go to Spartanburg SC to I-26 west toward Asheville, North Carolina
    3. Go to Exit 5, for Route 11 (Cherokee Foothills Scenic Route 11)
    4. The town is Campobello
    5. Turn left at the end of the exit ramp
    6. Stay on Route 11 about 4 miles go through the stop light bearing slightly right
    7. Note: Do not turn right onto Route 176 to Landrum (We are not in town)
    8. Stay on Route 11
    9. In about 5 miles you will come to a 4-way blinking stop light
    10. Go straight (Staying on Route 11) exactly one mile
    11. Turn left on Tugaloo Road, go exactly one mile
    12. Turn left on N. Campbell Road, go 7/10 of a mile
    13. Watch for the blue street sign on the left for Winstons Chase Court
    14. Come up Winstons Chase Court, bear right at the fork
