Barking Fox Farm Guest House

The first step across the threshold always takes guests by surprise. Eleven foot ceilings with chandeliers give a wonderful sense of space. It is tastefully decorated with antique furniture and part our collection of antique picture frames and prints. "Home away from home" could well describe this luxurious lodging facility. The cottage is located within five minutes of Landrum or Tryon, where numerous restaurants are available to serve you. If you have more time and want to travel a few more miles, Spartanburg, Greenville, Hendersonville, and Asheville are not far away.

In addition to the local eating venues, there are numerous antique shops, tack shops, art galleries and gift shops. There is also the Tryon Fine Arts Center and local art galleries which feature local professional artists.

Amenities include a full kitchen, tile floors with oriental rugs intentionally designed for the canine member of your family, and a whirlpool tub perfect for massaging those achy muscles at the end of the day. Breakfast items include milk, juice, eggs, and baked goods from our local bakery. FENCE (Foothills Equestrian Nature Center) is a stone's throw from Barking Fox Farm. It's a wonderful place to walk your dogs on their beautiful trails. Another nearby trail system is the Blue Wall Passage of the Palmetto Trail. This is a very "dog friendly" area. We are also less than an hour to the Biltmore House.
