    A stroll up lovely brick paved Church Street to stately Broad Street and on to the famous Market Street area offers a variety of unique shops, unforgettable restaurants, and lively night spots.

    Inside this charming Charleston family home, the antique furnishings, floor-to-ceiling windows, and broad verandas create an elegant restful environment. Our large guest rooms have comfy king sized beds, with the finest linens, private baths, cable TV and all the amenities. There is plenty of free parking and a soothing back courtyard garden to spend time in as well.

The Wedding Ceremony can be held in the parlor or on the patio in our garden, then have your catered reception on the tiered porch and in the gathering room.     The tip of Charleston's Peninsula with White Point Gardens & Battery Park is located just across the street. A walk on the Battery Wall looking out to the harbour to take in the sensational views is a guest favorite. Or, stroll up our lovely brick paved Church Street to stately Broad Street, and then on to the famous Market Street area which offers a variety of unique shops, unforgettable restaurants, the city market and lively night spots.
    The Cabell House is the perfect starting and ending point to wander through dozens of nearby art galleries, antique shops, historic homes and marvelous gardens. Shopping opportunities abound on King Street and elsewhere, and there is no end to the tremendous local restaurants to delight your palate for lunch or supper.
    Carriage rides, ghost tours, dinner cruises, and boat excursions in the Charleston Harbor are available all year round.

    Atlantic Ocean beaches are less than a half an hour's drive - both to the north and south of the city. The Isle of Palms is most often the family friendly choice of our guests to enjoy the shore and swimming, boating, sailing, kite boating, body boarding and surfing.

    There is so much to do here: plantations, the South Carolina Aquarium, so many museums, and of course, daily tours to Fort Sumter or on the Yorktown and other battle ships in the harbor.   • Directions

    From I-26

    1. take the Meeting St. exit- Exit 221B- on the left.
    2. Turn right onto Meeting St. / US-52
    3. Continue to follow Meeting St. almost to it's very end. (You will see the Battery Park ahead of you.)
    4. Turn left onto Atlantic St. and at the next corner, turn right onto Church St.
    5. Go almost to the end of the street
    6. On the left you will see a yellow house with the number 8 on door
    7. Pull into driveway on either side of the house (if on the left, pull as close to the follage as possible, making sure to be fully off the brick drive)
