  • Breakfast

Winner of Yankee Magazine's 2012 "Best

    Breakfast" Editor's Award!

Guests have told us that breakfast at Bristol House is one of the highlights of their stay with us! One guest even thanked us for “putting the BREAKFAST” back in Bed & Breakfast!

Our breakfast menus are highly influenced by local ingredients and by what is in season. We try to incorporate these products whenever possible. In season, we use vegetables from our own garden and from a neighborhood coop. We only use quality ingredients; which is showcased in our homemade granola and sweet breads.

Our dining room is set with fine linens and elegant place settings. Our gourmet breakfast is something to be savored and usually includes: fruit and/or yogurt with homemade granola, freshly baked breakfast sweet breads, and a cooked entree.

    Complimentary Gourmet Breakfast

Bristol House is pleased to offer a gourmet, sit down breakfast to all of our guests! Your Innkeeper has attended both the Culinary Institute of America as well as Apicius School in Florence, Italy. The menu she has prepared was created with you, as our guest, as the main attraction. Seasonal produce and local products are a key aspect to the menu.

We hope that you will enjoy your stay with us at Bristol House and also have the opportunity to sample some of Rhode Island’s attractions during your visit.

Bristol is conveniently located between the capital city of Providence and historic, scenic Newport. This means that not only do you have the best of Bristol at your fingertips, but that Bristol House is the perfect “home base” while you plan day trips to visit other local sites.

Providence is home to Brown University on the historic East Side – definitely worth a visit! Be sure to take time to stroll down Benefit Street and the downtown Providence area. When hunger strikes, our restaurants are famous (not only for the fabulous cuisine), but for the influx of local young chefs from Johnson and Wales University.

Newport’s famous mansions are definitely on the “must see” list! While visiting Newport for the day, you can take in a sail, stroll the historic waterfront and sample delicious food from numerous restaurants. A walk along Ocean Drive or the Cliff Walk is a perfect end to the day.

If your sense of wanderlust takes you to Boston for the day (or overnight), we would be happy to assist you with accommodations, directions and even offer suggestions on sites to see!
