    We extend a special welcome if you are traveling with pets. Well-behaved animals may accompany guest into their rooms for the night, providing they are crated. A kennel is available for larger dogs. For an additional fee, horses may be kept in one of our box stalls or turned out to pasture.

    A short drive on scenic Route 6 from either the Delaware Water Gap or the Wyoming Valley will bring you to the pristine, open spaces and comfortable accommodations of Leaping Rabbit Bed & Breakfast.     After settling in, enjoy a leisurely walk along the country roads and then relax on the porch with a cool drink. Those visiting our area to catch the fall foliage can enjoy a warm beverage by the fire. For your evening meals, recommendations and reservations are our pleasure. In addition to the front porch, parlor and keeping room, guests are also welcome to join us in the kitchen.

    A full country breakfast is served in our Keeping Room between 7:30 and 9:00 a.m.

    A visit to the farm wouldn't be complete without a stroll out to the barn. This building with its original clay tile silo and hand-hewn rafter beams has been preserved in form and function. The loft houses a growing collection of antiques that are available for sale. Down below, you can meet the cast of four-legged characters who call Leaping Rabbit home.

    Discover the shops and attractions in nearby Honesdale. The Stourbridge Line train rides are a popular draw for those enticed by rail history and landscape. Also close by, the Monastery of St. Tikhon.

     

    		 If you are traveling through our are along the D&H Canal paths, or the Route 6 lane designated for cyclists, we encourage you to call ahead to inquire about our courier service. Pick up and drop off at trail heads can be arranged.
