  • Introduction

Inne at Watson's Choice and Harvest House B&B - Uniontown, Pennsylvania

The Inne at Watson's Choice and Harvest House B&B offers to you and to your family and out-of-town guests the opportunity to lodge in the warmth and hospitality of a Bed and Breakfast Inn. Located in the rolling countryside of the Laurel Highlands, the Inne is in close proximity to Frank Lloyd Wright's Fallingwater and Kentuck Knob .

Owners Bill and Nancy Ross have carefully restored the structure of the Inne to the original circa 1820 western Pennsylvania farmhouse. In 1769 on this site, a land warrant of 325 acres was issued to John D. Watson for 53 British pounds and was called 'Watson's Choice'. Hence, the name Inne at Watson's Choice and Harvest House B&B.

    Beautiful Guest Rooms & Suites

The oldest part of the house offers a comfortable Common Room where guests may gather to read, listen to music, or just enjoy a beverage in front of the gas log fireplace. The walls of this room boast a mural depicting the surrounding countryside painted by a local artist. A guest can walk down a few steps from this room to the antique shop to browse for his or her own memento from the past. Additionally, the original structure can lodge up to six people in the three guest rooms: The Bluebird Room, the Quilt Room and the Pineapple Room.

In an authentically reproduced addition to the original farmhouse, guests can enjoy a hearty breakfast in the Great Room. This room of the Inne is truly a "great room" framed by massive wooden beams and focused around a majestic stone fireplace. This portion of the house can lodge up to eight people in the four guest rooms: The Apple Orchard, the Ivy Room, the Flower Garden Room and the Moss Rose Room.

All twelve of the guest rooms in the Inne offer a blend of the most modern conveniences with the ambiance of a nineteenth century Pennsylvania farmhouse. Each room is tastefully decorated and furnished with a queen-sized bed, wingback chairs and rockers, armoire, chest of drawers, telephone and a private bath. All rooms at the Inne are centrally heated and air-conditioned.

The grounds at the Inne at Watson's Choice and Harvest House B&B are as carefully designed and maintained as the interior of the home. Guests can enjoy a hike or leisurely stroll through the surrounding fields and hills or they can simply relax in high-backed porch rockers or a wooden swing on the spacious wrap-around porch.
