The French Manor's guestrooms are designed to emphasize both privacy and luxury while maintaining the intimate atmosphere of a country inn. All accommodations have cable television, telephone and modem jack, Free Local Phone Calls, Voice Mail, AC, bathrobes, and private bath. Additional amenities are listed in the descriptions below. All rooms and suites are non-smoking.All rates include a full country breakfast and a complimentary fruit and cheese plate and decanter of dry sherry in your room or suite upon arrive. The Turret Suite Located in the Manor building, this unique accommodation is a two-story suite. The living room and bathroom are located on the second floor, and you find the bedroom via a private staircase in the turret. You will find romance and tranquility in this lovely two-level suite. Rooms & Suites in the Carriage House Suite Brigitte This large and tastefully decorated room is more like a small apartment. San Remo Located on the second floor of the Carriage House Building, this room has a lovely Queen-size pillow top bed. With its inset windows and curved walls to the ceiling, this room creates a true European feel. Bathtub/Shower Combination, iron/ironing board. Price Range: $185 - $210 per couple
Geneva Located on the ground floor, this lovely accommodation offers a Queen Bed with a pillow top mattress. La Maisonneuve Suites Our six La Maisonneuve Suites each have a fireplace and Jacuzzi and their own private wrought-iron balconies with inspiring views. These lovely suites feature romantic four-poster or column style king or queen-size beds. Located in our new building adjacent to the main Manor building. Since its construction in 1932, it has been used as a private retreat for Joseph Hirshhorn and later by Samuel Kress (of Kresge department store fame). Modeled after Hirshhorn's actual French Manor in the south of France, the building possesses many fine features shared only by its European namesake. The French Manor's imported Spanish slate roof, "pecky" cypress interior and great hall, Romanesque arched entranceway, and massive stone fireplaces attest to the artisan's mastery.

Fine Dining The elegant dining room at The French Manor features a 40 foot vaulted ceiling and two massive fireplaces. Request a table near the terrace for a wonderful view of the Pocono Mountains, or a table by the fireplace for later dining. Breakfast in nice weather can be accommodated on the stone veranda.
Our gourmet dinner menu features both Classical and Nouvelle French Cuisine. Candlelight dining, culinary expertise, and our pampering staff make each meal a memorable dining experience. Proper attire required. (Jackets for gentlemen).
