    Welcome to The Overlook
    Historic Bed and Breakfast in Centre Park, Reading PA offers spacious guest suites, balcony overlooking the gardens and continental breakfast delivered to your suite. Reviewed by Berks County Living Magazine for our fun and unique interactive "Mystery Dinners" and recently featured on My Ghost Story as a haunted B&B. We host a variety of events such as pajama parties, paranormal workshops, wine tasting, spiritual readings, candlelight history tours, mystery dinners, bridal/baby showers and private venue events. Conveniently located near antique and outlet shopping, as well as wonderful dining experiences. We offer in-room massages and special getaway packages individually created.

    Built in 1873, Overlook Mansion offers a relaxing stay away from home, located in the Centre Park Historic District.   

    All stays include cheese and cracker tray  the evening of your arrival and continetal breakfast delivered to your room. Special Relaxation packages availbale that include private yoga and massage.

    Why do most travelers stay at your inn?

    Relaxing and convenient to antiquing. Some guest stay because it is considered one of the most haunted locations in the area. It has been featured on My Ghost Story and Berks Living.

    What are you best known for? What makes your inn unique? What do you love most about your inn?

    We are most known for our "Mystery Dinners, Spiritual Medium events, pajama parties, calendar of events and being haunted. What makes your inn unique? Our B&B was built in 1873 and has beautiful architecture. Even though the B&B is larger it still has a cozy feel, comfortable and a home away from home. What do you love most about your inn? My guest and spirit energies.

    If someone has never been to your city, what is the #1 reason to come visit?

    Historic and convenience to other wonderful events.

    What’s the best compliment you have ever received about the inn?

    Wonderful hospitality, love the beds, great night sleep and yummy breakfast.

    What’s the best kept secret about the area?

    Wonderful local artist, architecture and unique events

    If a traveler is staying at your inn for 4 nights, what should he/she do in the area?

    Depending on the time of year and the guest preference, I would encourage guest to participate in an event here at the B&B, visit West Reading Shops, antique at Adamstown and Kutztown markets, enjoy the wonderful restaurants, explore the Museum and Planetarium, hiking at Hawk mountain, Goggle Works Art or follow the wine trail.
