Tattersall Inn - at the Stover Mansion

Canterbury Room - A beautiful and sunny corner room with working gas fireplace, four-poster queen bed, and private bath with shower. Red toile wall coverings with colonial wide plank flooring and wine color rug provide an inviting and relaxing getaway retreat. The view is toward the garden with lots of greenery, a wooded hill and pending the season and density of foliage, a former grist mill and Tohicon Creek.

Royal Lavender Room - Fit for a king and queen, a gracious large victorian room with hand tied canopied four-poster queen size bed, entry foyer, full size bath with tub and shower, wall to wall carpeting, and comfortable lounge or fainting couch for relaxation. The gas fireplace adds romance and ambiance.

Highland Room - Our historic colonial Stover room dates back to the mid 1700’s. Bright with 4 opposite windows, period décor and wide plank flooring. Room is adjacent to a sitting porch overlooking stately trees, brick court yard and gardens.

English Garden Room - A beautiful, bright room with floral covered walls and fully carpeted floor. The room features a queen size bed with hand painted antique headboard, armoire, private bath with shower, and a windowed alcove with round table and chairs looking out onto a small frog pond and onto gardens.

The Squire Room - The first floor Squire Room exudes comfort and elegance with a queen size, mahogany 4 poster lace top canopy bed, fireplace and 4 deep set windows, while offering light and airy feel. Rates: $160 to $215 per night (see midweek specials)

Silhouette Room - Yellow and white striped wall coverings with black toile fabric accents provide a cozy and comfortable atmosphere. Wide plank colonial flooring with black floral rug provide the foundation. Stretch out on the four poster bed or enjoy a glass of wine at your round table.

 Policies...

• Check-in: 3 to 8 pm (Please call if later arrival is necessary)
• Check-out: 11 am
• Prices are based upon single/double occupancy. A third guest may be accommodated for an additional $30 (adult) or $20 (age 12-17). Also added will be a 3% county tax and 6% state tax.
• Children ages 12-17 are welcome. Although we do like younger ones, under the age of 12 cannot be accommodated as it is mostly an adult getaway.
• A two night stay is requested when Saturday is included. A single Saturday stay may occasionally be available pending time of year – please call for availability. For a single night stay, a $20 dollar service fee is added to the cost.
• Personal checks, Traveler’s checks, cash, MasterCard and Visa are accepted as methods of payment.
• The Tattersall is a smoke-free environment. Smoking is allowed out in the garden/driveway area only. Smoking in any room/indoor area will result in additional charges for full cleaning.
• In consideration of other guests, we are unable to accommodate pets of any kind.
• In the very, very rare event of room damage, additional fees may be added at owner’s discretion following guest stay.
• Reservations are taken via a phone call or on-line/internet service. A MasterCard or Visa card number is used to hold the reservation. Full payment is due upon arrival.
• If a cancellation is needed, notification must be given to the Tattersall at least 10 days before the expected arrival date for a single room and at least 30 days for multiple rooms, to encounter no charge. For cancellations made within the 10 or 30 day time frame, a one night charge will be encountered.
