I just returned from my niece’s graduation, and the Parador is where I chose to stay. I thought the inn was most charming, and Ed was a wonderful host. My room was very spacious and the breakfasts served were great. I loved the antique clocks, the chandeliers and the lovely garden. I will definitely stay there again if I have another opportunity to visit Pittsburgh.

  • Events

Choose The Parador for your special event.  Planning and attention to detail ensure that the event goes flawlessly. Ed Menzer, your host and the Parador's owner, will personally oversee your event and work with you to create a day of memories that will last a lifetime.

Our 2,000 square foot Ballroom is the perfect venue for entertaining your friends and relatives. The original tin ceiling and hardwood floors from the 1920's gives a feeling of timelessness. The hand carved floor to ceiling bar offers sophistication to any event. And while the original 1920's Knight's of Columbus Ballroom takes you back in time, the newly installed heating and air conditioning keeps your guests comfortable. The Ballroom is handicapped accessible and has a handicapped rest room. The Ballroom can comfortably handle a hundred guests.

The gardens make a lovely location to entertain your guests. It is the perfect location for an informal gathering where your guests can meander around the various gardens and delight in finding the hidden treasures. For a more intimate and formal event, ask about having your event in the public spaces of the Main House. The Lake Worth Sun Room, Library and Formal Parlor make a dramatic backdrop to your special event. Of course, the three dining rooms are an excellent space to dazzle your guests, as well.
