The Straup House

Savor the charm of staying in a traditional Pennsylvania farmhouse and enjoy your privacy, with the security of knowing that the proprietors are next door, if needed. Steeped in family and local history, the three bedroom white frame guest house grew from the simple 1850's stone homestead house which has been in our family for four generations. Our "Country Style" home still has many of the original furnishings, blended with cottage accents complementary to their time. Today, Straup House is located in a quiet residential area of Palmerton. Our tree-lined lot is one of the largest in town and is within walking distance of town, the Palmerton Pool and a lovely nature trail.
