Pets Welcome
New Hope's 1870 Wedgwood Bed and Breakfast Inn can accommodate a 'well behaved and well traveled' pet. These selected guest rooms have the same antiques, original art, fluffy comforters, etc. that the rest of the Inn has. They also have a special amenity liked by both 2 and 4 legged houseguests: a private porch or a separate entrance as well as a main door through the Inn.
Most of our pet guest experiences have been 100% positive. Please read the following guidelines developed over the 20 years of serving our four legged friends. We have learned that a guest room at an Inn with strange noises and other humans coming and going is not at all like being left alone in your personal home. Please read this thoroughly so both you and your pet --- and other houseguests and our staff, will be safe, happy and grateful. Please remember: You are liable for your pet at all times and also responsible for damage, injury or lost revenue due to your pet. There is a $30 per night charge for your pet.
- Shampoo / Flea Dip prior to arrival.
- Bring along a water dish, food, favorite toy, familiar bedding, an extra blanket to throw on the floor or bed, and a travel cage. It is not appropriate for your pet to sit in our chairs or lie on our coverlets and comforters.
- Always keep your pet on a leash while on Inn grounds and near others. Other adults, children or another pet may fear your animal.
- Do not leave your pet in a room unattended or out of its travel cage; All guests are entitled to the 'quiet enjoyment' of the Inn.
- Most restaurants with outdoor seating allow you to bring your pet. Others bring food back to the Inn. (Sometimes a seat in your shaded car while you dine is appropriate too.)
- Exercise your pet in the fields across the street, not on Inn grounds. NOTE: there is a 'pooper-scooper' law in New Hope.
- Wipe paws and check for ticks before returning. Ask your Innkeeper for towels.
- Please fax us documentation from your vet that shows up-to-date vaccinations. Fax to: 215-862-3937.
- Thank you in advance for your cooperation. Have a great stay!

Kid Friendly
Some bed & breakfasts discourage kids, and some guests are looking for a quiet getaway. As parents, we know what it is like to travel as a family. We pride ourselves in accomplishing a pleasant experience for both types of travelers because we have specialized, but limited accommodations that work great for a family with a child. The Inn's park-like setting and close proximity to town with all its child-friendly attractions make New Hope's 1870 Wedgwood Inn the ideal destination for you and your child.
So, if your child sleeps through the night, appreciates fine linens, bedspreads and antiques too, then let us help you all relax and enjoy your visit to Bucks County.
Your Hosts, Carl and Dinie, live in a separate house on the Inn grounds. Their daughter Jessica gladly shares her movies and some of her toys. Sometimes she will even show guest children her secret tree house.
