Pineapple Hill Bed & Breakfast

1324 River Road, New hope, Pennsylvania 18938

  • Introduction

Enjoy the charm of a beautifully restored colonial manor house built in 1790. Set on almost 6 acres, this Bucks County, Pennsylvania bed and breakfast rests between New Hope's center and Washington Crossing Park.

In the 1700s it was customary to place a pineapple on your front porch as a way of letting friends and neighbors know you were welcoming guests. We continue this tradition by offering the same hospitality to our guests - we hope you'll always feel welcome at Pineapple Hill.

Living RoomThe eighteen inch walls and original woodwork at the historically registered Pineapple Hill exemplify a craftmanship long forgotten. On the grounds, the ruins of a stone barn enclose a beautifully hand tiled pool.

Breakfast at Pineapple Hill is always a treat. A full gourmet breakfast is skillfully prepared and served in our common room each morning. Breakfast is served from 8:00am until 10:00am at individual candle-lit tables.

PoolEach of the spacious guestrooms is individually furnished with locally obtained antiques, collectibles, and original artwork. For your reading pleasure, all rooms are well stocked with books and magazines. Three of the guestrooms are accompanied by a separate living room with comfortable furnishings and cable TV. All guestrooms have their own private bath. Some rooms have a fireplace and private deck.

We are located deep in the heart of antiquing territory, where treasure hunting at the local shops, auctions, and flea markets is readily available. There are also art galleries, theatre and specialty shops all nearby. Outdoor enthusiasts will be thrilled by the hiking, biking, and walking trails running along the Delaware River and through the historial parks in the area. Opportunities for enjoyment abound in the heart of beautiful Bucks County...
