Aaron Burr House Bed and Breakfast is an 1873 "Painted Lady" located steps from New Hope's vibrant village square and riverfront parks, in historic Bucks County. Each one of the Inn's accommodations has a distinct personality, hand painted/stenciled by a New Hope artist and feature antiques, private bath, air conditioners, and Free Wi-FI connection. Most have brass ceiling fans, and some have 2 person Jacuzzi tubs, a private porch, four poster Lace Canopy beds, and/or a fireplace.
The Inn takes its name from the third Vice President of the United States. After Aaron Burr's infamous and fatal pistol duel with Alexander Hamilton in 1804, Burr escaped to New Hope for safe haven. The Inn's stone foundation is all that remains of this pre-Revolutionary War era home where Burr is said to have hid for over a week.
This nationally acclaimed inn has been serving leisure and business travellers since 1990. Guest room rates for our B&B package of amenities range from $95 to $295 per night, double occupancy. Private Pool & Tennis Club, and Health Club priviledges are also available for registered Guests. The Inn is conveniently located midway between New York City and Philadelphia, and 3 hours from the Baltimore/DC metro area.
