Judy Barnard has been sewing since the age of seven and quilting for over a decade. Her passion and skill has led to a personal gallery showing of her crafts at Penn State University and numerous awards including a Judges Choice at the 2011 Maryland State Fair. She is an active member of Everybody’s Quilt Guild, Baltimore Heritage Quilt Guild, Mid-Atlantic Machine Quilters and the Mason Dixon Quilt Professionals.
Judy’s specialties include t-shirt and memory quilts, traditional and curved piecing, and machine appliqué. Judy loves to teach quilters young and old and bring them into her world! If you have enjoyed any of Jennifer Chiaverini's novels and you are searching for your own Elm Creek Manor.

Washington DC comes to Mercersburg 22 Sep 2011, 4:42 pm
Congressman Bill Shuster and DC Staff
Rep. Bill Shuster brought his staff to the Inn this past July. The staff spent the day touring the area which is part of his large district. The purpose of the visit is to familiarize the staff in his DC office with the area that he represents.

May 25, 2011 - Fundraiser for State Rep. Tod Rock
100 people attended an invitation only fundraiser for State Rep. Todd Rock at the Inn on Wednesday evening. In addition to Governor Corbett, House Majority Leader Mike Turzai, state house majority whip Rep. Stanley Saylor, and county commissioner Bob Thomas were in attendance.

The Mercersburg Inn and Franklin County Welcomes Volvo Construction Equipment 3 May 2011, 8:15 am
Mercersburg InnFranklin County Area Development Corporation president Mike Ross will host a tour of Franklin County for executives of Volvo Contruction Equipment on May 5.
Volvo has announced an investment of $100 million dollars in Shippensburg, moving 220 jobs from North Carolina.
The group will tour Franklin County in transportation provided by Whitetail Ski Resort. Mike Ross will then host a cocktail hour and dinner for forty at the Inn. U.S. Representative Bill Shuster will join us at the Inn to welcome the executives from Volvo.
