MOTLEY CRUE: THE FINAL TOUR

GIANT CENTER

Not able to see Motley Crue’s Final Tour last year? Worry no more, Crue fans…not only will you be able to see them full tilt, you’ll get to enjoy another music icon…Alice Cooper.

“In some of the cities, we could only reach a fraction of the fans who wanted to come see us play last year because of ticket demand so we’re coming back to those places to bring them our full production including the Crüecifly drum coaster, as well as all pyro and every other bell and whistle. Even despite the overwhelming fan demand we can only add so many new cities in North America because of our commitment to take the Final Tour global on our final year.” ~ Nikki Sixx

After touring and playing for thirty four years, the group announced their two year final tour by signing a Cessation Of Touring Agreement January 2014 at a press conference in Los Angeles. Not wanting fans to miss the opportunity to say goodbye, Motley Crue gave them the chance to “demand” where they wanted the group to perform…and charted it on a heat map. See all the good stuff at their website..

Live On Tour Van Halen at Hersheypark Stadium 1 Jun 2015, 7:00 am

LIVE ON TOUR VAN HALEN

HERSHEYPARK STADIUM

It’s sure to be one hot night in August when Van Halen takes the stage at Hersheypark Stadium with their “Live On Tour” show…special guest will be Kenny Wayne Shepherd Band.

Formed in 1972, in Pasadena, California, Van Halen forever changed the face of rock and roll. From 1974 until 1985, the band consisted of guitarist Eddy Van Halen, vocalist David Lee Roth, drummer Alex Van Halen and bassist Michael Anthony. By the early 80’s, these guys were wildly successful…in fact one of the most popular bands of the time. 1984 was their most successful album, with the single “Jump” being an international hit and the only single of theirs to reach number one on the Billboard Hot 100. They have, however, charted the most number one hits in the history of Billboard’s Mainstream Rock chart and are one of the world’s best-selling bands. The band was inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in 2007. Not without their problems, the band changed members over the years with the current lineup being David Lee Roth, Eddie Van Halen, Alex Van Halen and Wolfgang Van Halen (Eddie’s son).

Kenny Wayne Shepherd began his recording career at the early age of 16..known for his guitar skills and leaning heavily on the blues, he has made an impressive name for himself and his band. Kenny’s latest album, “Goin’ Home” was released in May 2014.

Country Rock & Rewind Festival, Hersheypark Stadium 28 May 2015, 7:00 am

COUNTRY ROCK & REWIND FESTIVAL

HERSHEYPARK STADIUM

Summer music festivals are great entertainment and great value for the money…and this one is no exception! Big names in both country and rock genres are set to appear and all in one venue.

So far, the lineup for the festival is pretty impressive..Grand Ole Opry members, multiple winners of ACM, CMA and CMT Awards, the Rascal Flatts trio will be headlining along with…actor (General Hospital’s Dr. Noah Drake) and singer-songwriter of “Jessie’s Girl”, Rick Springfield…Detroit pop-rockers of “What I like About You” and “Talking In Your Sleep” fame, The Romantics…and songbird Ashley Monroe, who achieved critical acclaim for her 2013 hit “Like A Rose”. Sure to be a nice mix of country and rock.

If you haven’t been to Hersheypark Stadium, we think it is one of the nicest outdoor venues we’ve seen. High up on the hill beyond the stage is a spectacular view of the Hershey Hotel and Gardens. Behind one of the grandstands you can see some of the tallest rides at Hersheypark. Also nice to know, the Hersheypark Event Special is in effect. What does that mean? Present your concert ticket at the Hersheypark Ticketing Services Building the day before, day of, or day after a concert to receive discounted admission!
