String of Pearls

This bright room has a soft, warm feel of the WWII homefront. With a view of the huge, ancient sycamore tree that witnessed the battle of Gettysburg and the delivery of the Gettysburg Address. Decorated with a queen size iron depression era bed, authentic art, memorabilia and antiques of the 1940’s. Private bath has a shower, no tub.

The Family Suite

Has 2 bedrooms and one bath. The Moonlight Serenade and the Charleston rooms share a bathroom when you rent one room the second is at half price! Each bedroom has a door to the inn’s common hallway and a door to the bathroom that is shared between these two rooms. 2 bedrooms one king and one queen sized bed, one bath, room for a rollaway bed.

Moonlight Serenade

Is the large Master bedroom with a view of the huge sycamore tree that witnessed the battle of Gettysburg and the delivery of the Gettysburg Address. This room is decorated with many beautiful examples of pin-up art from the 1930’s up to the 1950’s. The bed is a dark bronze deco iron California king size along side a waterfall dresser, vanity, chifforobe and personal items of this period. The bathroom has a tub/shower combination.

Charleston

Has a queen size bed and is decorated with the 1920’s and 1930’s art, antiques and furniture. This room adjoins the Moonlight Serenade room through the bathroom as part of the 2 room family suite.

Age of Chivalry

The Great War room invites you to relax and reflect on earlier times while viewing memorabilia of WWI. This beautiful, quiet room is furnished in a dark oak bedroom set. It is decorated with original posters/art, a relic display, a turn of the century telephone with stand, a copper ceiling and a doughboy uniform. It has a view of the Victorian Gothic Revival mansion next door (the Rupp House). Private bath with a tub/shower.

 Beautiful Dreamer

This large room has an: Iron Queen Bed, Private Entrance, First Floor Convenience, Private Kitchenette, Private Bath with an Antique Claw Foot Tub with Shower. Pull Out Loveseat to accommodate an extra person. Decorated with dreamy wallpapers, bronze metallic ceiling and Victorian art and antiques. Want to stay in a B&B but are a little shy? That’s okay, the Beautiful Dreamer room is the solution for you. You have a private entrance, bath and kitchenette.  Park just steps from your room and have first floor convenience.

Policies

• Due to our intimate size and since most of our guests plan stays well in advance, cancellations affect us greatly. Please be sure of your plans before reserving. Cancellations received at least 14 days prior to the arrival date will be refunded the deposit less a $20 cancellation/processing fee. Cancellations received within 14 days of the arrival date will result in forfeiture of your deposit. Cancellations received within 7 days of arrival date, no-shows or leaving prior to the last day of reservation will result in full room rate being charged to your credit card. We try very hard to re-rent a cancelled room by contacting other local inns and if we can re-rent the room we will refund your deposit (less the $20 fee) so please give us as much notice as possible. Remember you may send a friend or family member in your place.
• Off season: We understand that winter weather can change plans and are more liberal about the cancellation policy in the winter. We still need a call from you if you can’t come.
• Check-in is at Aces High Gallery (the gift shop on the 1st floor) enter the front door on the left on the front porch. Preferred check-in time is 3-5 pm. If your room is ready, you may check-in as early as 2pm. Late check-in (after 5pm) you must call us before 5pm to arrange for a check-in time or to get the lockbox code. If arriving after 10pm please move in quietly out of consideration of to other guests.
• Balance is due at check-in. Late arriving guests will be charged the balance on their on-file credit card by 5pm of arrival date.
• Check-out is at 11am.
• No smoking inside the inn. Smoking is allowed on the front porch.
• Sorry, no pets allowed.
• Children allowed, well behave preferred.
• Most weekends April-November require 2 night reservations. If we allow a one night reservation on the weekend we may ask a higher price than the prices quoted here. Sometimes we are left with just one night on the weekend, often last minute, and will happily allow a one night reservation.
• Quiet Time at the inn is 11pm till 8am
