This piece is unique as the top was found in the basement of this property during the renovation and is dated 1842. It was painted black with no doors. Two of our carpenters took the piece, stripped the paint and built the base as well as the doors to complete the cupboard. Although not specific to one period the cupboard reflects the owner's feelings about the property. We have saved a small piece of our hotels history, plus have created history in the process.
