Garden Cottage Suite
Finished, and opened in 1995, that Garden Cottage was the last of the original buildings to be renovated into a lovely private guest room. This room has a private back porch with lovely views of some of the farm's pasture land. It is the favorite choice of Brides for their wedding night. A private cottage all to yourselves... With cathedral ceilings throughout, the lower level of this deluxe suite offers a spacious living room, wet bar, wood-burning fireplace, flatscreen TV/DVD, and antique desk. Upstairs awaits a king size Sleep Number bed, wood-burning fireplace, whirlpool, flatscreen TV/DVD, private bath and private deck with pasture views.

Farmhouse
The Farmhouse building is original to the farm here at Glasbern. This is where the farmer and his family would have lived. When purchased in 1985  the Farmhouse had no interior plumbing. This was the first renovation made towards turning the farm into a historic inn. Al and Beth moved lived in the Farmhouse while renovations were made to the Barn, turning it into rooms for future guests.

Farmhouse Deluxe Suite
The two-level Farmhouse Deluxe Suite features a living room with stereo, large whirlpool, and wood-burning fireplace with fireside couch. Adjoining the living room is a spacious, sunny sitting room with wet bar, flatscreen TV/DVD, comfy couch and private outdoor patio. Upstairs in the master bedroom awaits a king size Sleep Number bed, full private bath with steam shower for two, and second flatscreen TV/DVD.

Farmhouse Lower Suite
Arrayed around a central, dual-faced wood-burning fireplace, the luxurious Farmhouse Lower Suite has a king size Sleep Number bed, large whirlpool, full private bath with steam shower for two, fireside loveseat, and flatscreen TV/DVD.

Farmhouse Upper Suite
The Farmhouse Upper Suite has a dual electric-heater fireplace, king size Sleep Number bed, private bath, whirlpool, full private bath with steam shower for two, loveseat, television with DVD/CD player, and a mini-refrigerator with ice maker.
 

Carriage House
The changing of the original farm's tractor shed into what is now known as the Carriage House was started after the Inn opened in the newly renovated Barn. This building was the first in which Al and his carpenter, Bill, worked with placing whirlpool tubs and fireplaces in the guest rooms. The idea was so popular with our guests, that now almost all of our rooms has a fireplace to relax by and a whirlpool tub to unwind in.

Carriage House Sunroom Suite
With wrap-around windows, the large, airy Sunroom Suite offers a king size Sleep Number bed, private bath, wood-burning fireplace, flatscreen TV w/DVD, refrigerator, high speed Internet. The suite's adjoining sunroom features a cathedral ceiling, sitting area and two-person whirlpool.

Carriage House Upper
A great choice for a cozy winter weekend getaway, these intimate rooms offer a queen Sleep Number bed, private bath, wood-burning fireplace, two person whirlpool, skylight, and flatscreen TV w/DVD.
 

Stables
The Stable building is not original to the property, though it is old. The Stable building was located on another nearby farm. It was dismantled, moved, and re-assembled here at Glasbern. It was like an old fashioned barn raising, but we used a crane. The Stable is now home to spacious deluxe suite accommodations.

Stables Suite
The deluxe Stables Suite offers towering cathedral ceilings and a spiral staircase leading to a large whirlpool in the upper loft. An incredibly spacious lower level features a king size Sleep Number bed, wood-burning fireplace, large private bath, wet bar, sitting area, 42" flatscreen TV w/DVD, stereo with CD player and private deck.

Stables Lower Suite
The luxurious and secluded Stables Lower Suite offers a wood-burning fireplace with sitting area, king size Sleep Number bed, whirlpool, large private bath, private outdoor patio with porch swing, wet bar, flatscreen TV w/DVD, and stereo/CD player. This room is both handicapped accessible and pet friendly.

Gatehouse
The Gatehouse was the third building that was renovated to become part of what is now a 38 room inn. The original building was simply a garage. Master Carpenter Bill Huber had a vision for the building, and the Gatehouse is now home to two of our guest suites. A living testament to what a dream and hard work can accomplish.

Gatehouse Suite
We have two of these spacious, secluded bi-level suites. They each offer a king Sleep Number bed, flatscreen TV, wood-burning fireplace, private bath, fireside loveseat, and spiral staircase leading to a two-person whirlpool in the skylight loft.
 

Packhouse
Like the Stable, the Packhouse is not original to the farm that once stood here on the property. The packhouse is the result of a union of two unique barns from other farms in the area. These two barns were in very bad shape, and in dire need of relocation and refurbishment. Once again, we dismantled, moved and reassembled building to keep them useful. This time we took the two barns and created one building. Now home to twelve guest rooms and a small meeting room, the packhouse is typically held forwedding groups and corporate retreats.

Packhouse Lower Level Suite
These large, airy suites offer a king size Sleep Number bed, private bath, gas fireplace, flatscreen TV/DVD, desk space, refrigerator and whirlpool. Packhouse Upper Level Rooms
These spacious rooms offer a king bed, private bath, gas fireplace, flatscreen TV/DVD, CD player, refrigerator and whirlpool. Rooms 72, 73, 76, 77 have west-facing windows and cathedral ceilings with exposed beams. Rooms 71, 74, 75, 78 have oversized west-facing windows with in-room barn-board shutters. The Barn
The Barn is the main building of our inn. Here you find our dining area, pub, kitchen, and front desk. The Barn was the first building, after adding indoor plumbing to the Farmhouse, that was renovated to become Glasbern. Our name is Old English for "glass barn." The south side of the Barn is mostly glass, and Beth Granger thought it would be a fitting name for the dream the she and Al brought to life on this great land. Our dining area is open for breakfast and dinner everyday. Our pub is open for dinner nightly. Reservations are required for all dinner guests. Same day reservations can sometimes be accepted, just call ahead and ask.

Standard and Whirlpool Barn Rooms
Do not let the title of Standard fool you. The rooms in the barn are simple yet elegant in their design. Some of our standard rooms sport a queen bed, while the others have a king bed. All have private baths, antique decor, lovely courtyard view, and easy access to the Inn's dining facilities. Our lower level barn rooms were refitted with whirlpool tubs a few years after the initial renovation. Sadly there was no way to fit whirlpool tubs into the upper level rooms.

Before reserving, please be aware that there is significant overhead noise from the kitchen, restaurant, and front desk area (in the lowel level rooms). Overhead traffic can be expected from 6 a.m. until at least 11 p.m.

General Policies
Each room accommodates two people with a single King or Queen bed. Rollaways are available in some of our accommodations for a third guest for $25

Cancellation/deposit: A deposit equivalent to one night's stay plus tax will guarantee your accommodations, and will be credited to the last day of your stay.
A seven-day cancellation notice is required for a refund of your deposit, less a $25.00 service charge. Any reservations cancelled less than seven days from arrival will forfeit the entire deposit unless the guest has purchased Cancellation Insurance.
Cancellation Insurance may be purchased for an additional $25.00. If you purchase this insurance you may cancel the reservation at any time without losing your deposit
Child Policy: We have limited accommodations for children.  Please call us at 610-285-4723, and we will help you create a great stay for you and your children.
Dog Policy: Three suites suitable for dogs are available -- Two Packhouse Suites and the Lower Stables Suite. Our pet charge is $25.00.
