Breakfast is served every morning from 7 - 9 am to accommodate even the early riser.     West Ridge Guest House is conveniently located between Hershey, Harrisburg, York and Lancaster Dutch Country area. The location gives you many options and opportunities for different activities. Harrisburg International Airport is only 15 minutes away, so convenient for the corporate traveler or guests on a vacation getaway. You will appreciate the beauty of the well manicured grounds as you approach this country estate.     Four rooms in the main house and five rooms in the guest house are individually decorated with a separate theme. All have private baths, TV, VCRs and AC. Some have decks, whirlpool tubs, refrigerators and fireplaces. All rooms have king or queen size beds.

    Relax in the hot tub, read a book or watch a video from our movie library. West Ridge offers a restful escape from the pressures of everyday life.     From Baltimore

    Take Route 83 from Baltimore to York, PA. In York, PA, watch for signs to Route 30 East towards Lancaster. Follow Route 30 East. When you cross the long bridge of the Susquehanna River, exit at the Columbia Exit and make a right at the end of the exit. Go to the first red light and make a right on 441 North. Continue on 441 North for approximately 10-12 miles. Make a right onto Route 241 North and go 3 miles. Make a right onto Miller Road (Brick house on corner at bottom of hill). Go 1/2 mile on Miller Road and make a left on West Ridge Road and go 1/4 mile. 1st farm on left - Turn left into 1st driveway (Guest House Sign marking it).

    From Harrisburg

    Route 283 East towards Airport and Lancaster. Watch for the Hershey/Elizabethtown exit. Down off ramp turn right (Route 743 South). Take Route 743 South to traffic light on Market Street in Elizabethtown. Turn left onto Market Street, go through Elizabethtown. Near the end of Elizabethtown, turn right onto Route 743 South (Maytown Road). Stay on Route 743 South for about 1/2 mile. Bear right at "Y" road (West Ridge Road). Go 1 mile on West Ridge Road to stop sign, go straight at stop sign, continue 1 mile. West Ridge will be on your right. Take the 2nd driveway at Guest House sign.

    From Philadelphia

    Take Schuykill Expressway 76 toward Valley Forge. At Valley Forge, PA turnpike towards Harrisburg or Lancaster. Take exit 286 Reading Lancaster Exit. About 1/2 mile after exit - Follow sign to Route 222 South to Lancaster - make left. About 10 miles after exit - Route 30 West - get into right lane. Route 30 West turns into Route 283 West about 6 miles. Stay in the left lane following signs to Harrisburg. About 10 miles Elizabethtown/Rheems exit. Down off ramp turn left. At the 3rd traffic light, turn right onto Route 230 West. (Turkey Hill on right) Follow Route 230 West past Kmart and McDonalds to traffic light at Route 743 South. Turn left onto Route 743 South - Maytown Road. (Mt. Tunnel Cemetery on left). Stay on Route 743 South for about 1/2 mile. Bear right at "Y" road onto West Ridge Road. (Masonic Village sign) At the stop sign continue straight on West Ridge Road for 1 mile. West Ridge will be on your right. Take the 2nd driveway at Guest House sign.

    From New York & New Jersey

    From New York City, take Interstate 78 West through New Jersey. Continue on Interstate 78 West until 78 West ends and merges with Interstate 81 - approximately 20 miles East of Harrisburg, PA. Take Interstate 81 South to Grantville exit, follow to Hershey (Route 743). Follow Route 743 South through Hershey to Elizabethtown. Take Route 743 South to traffic light on Market Street in Elizabethtown. Turn left onto Market Street, go through Elizabethtown. Near the end of Elizabethtown, turn right onto Route 743 South (Maytown Road). Stay on Route 743 South for about 1/2 mile. Bear right at "Y" road (West Ridge Road). Go 1 mile on West Ridge Road to stop sign, go straight at stop sign, continue 1 mile. West Ridge will be on your right. Take the 2nd driveway at Guest House sign.

    From Pittsburgh

    Head East on the Turnpike and get off at Exit 247 (Harrisburg East). The Exit is right after Susquehanna River Bridge. When exiting, move towards the right side of the toll booth to have easier access to 283 East. Follow signs for 283 East, heading East on 283 look for Hershey/Elizabethtown Exit. At bottom of exit, turn right onto 743 South. Go straight through the 1st light and at 2nd light. Turn left onto Market Street, go through Elizabethtown. Near the end of Elizabethtown, turn right onto Route 743 South (Maytown Road). Stay on Route 743 South for about 1/2 mile. Bear right at "Y" road (West Ridge Road). Go 1 mile on West Ridge Road to stop sign, go straight at stop sign, continue 1 mile. West Ridge will be on your right. Take the 2nd driveway at Guest House sign.
