The Winterthur Suite
The Winterthur Suite, with its casement flanked central Palladian window overlooking the gardens and Nina Campbell wallpaper, has a private entrance hallway, a queen bed and full private bath. This is the most requested suite, often from couples looking to celebrate their wedding night or an anniversary.

The Daniel Webster Room, with original 1749 paneled mantel and decorative fireplace, has Pierre Deux drapery panels, a massive antique queen bed and private bath.

The John Marshall Room
The John Marshall Room has an antique spool queen bed and dresser, a fireplace with an electric firestove insert, and a full private bath in the hallway (it's a private bath but you leave the bedroom to get to it).

The Longwood Room
Twin beds that can be made into a king sized bed and a light airy feel are the attractions of this room, named for the number 1 attraction of the area. Private shower bath, and windows with cross ventilation for plenty of fresh air.

The Lafayette Room
A large room in the oldest portion of the house c.1714. The room contains a king-sized, antique reproduction four poster bed and a day bed (set up to look like a couch) and is therefore suitable for three adults. A decorative fireplace with an electric firestove insert.. Designer wallpaper, original wide floorboards, private shower bath, and a private winder staircase add to the charm of this room.

Lafayette Up & Down Suite
After check-in, if the weather is good,you may enter and leave from your own private entrance. Like a cottage within the inn, the 1714 original section of the inn is all yours. A complete parlor with a wood-burning fireplace, comfortable seating, books, and reading lamps, downstairs allows you to truly relax and unwind. Enjoy a private breakfast in your parlor, for an extra fee, or join our other guests in the Garden room for your morning meal. For a complete description of the bedroom, please see Lafayette (above). Please note, when the Lafayette room is not available, then the Up & Down suite, is not available.

Guest Room
This room has no bath so we suggest it with one of the rooms contiguous to it (4 Seasons, Longwood or Winterthur Room), for families with children, or friends traveling together who can share a bath but require comfortable - separate sleeping arrangements.

Guest Room Policies
Visit the "Tour Our Rooms" page on our website for Virtual Tours of all our Guest Rooms
- Checkin is after 3PM
- Please call if you are going to be after 5PM or if you change the time you told us you'd arrive
- Two night minimum preferred (on weekends) - special weekly, corporate and senior rates
- Room Rates Do Not Include Six Percent Pennsylvania Sales Tax and Two Percent Chester County Room Tax
- Choice of Full Country Breakfast or Continental "Plus"
- Can accommodate small to medium corporate board meetings, seminars, and catered events of other varieties
- No smoking in the INN: areas outside are provided
Reservation & Cancellation Policies
- The first night is charged at the time of reservation; the balance is paid at checkout
- Cancellation of less than ten days' notice forfeits a refund unless the room is rebooked( Which we will work very hard to do)
- If we are successful a $25 booking fee is charged to the original guest
- If we cannot re-book the room we charge the first night of the stay. We can offer a credit for that charged night BUT ONLY if the guest re books for a later date PLUS one more day than the orig reservation
- Reservations encompassing special days require a two-week notification of cancellation
