Springhouse 1 is on the first floor of the Springhouse with a private entrance. Its light and airy décor includes architectural elements from the original barn. The deck looks down the meadow to the neighboring pond. $225

Springhouse 3 is on the second floor of the Springhouse, and has a queen canopied bed, wing chairs, a bath with two-person 'rain forest' shower, fireplace (in season), and desk. Its décor includes architectural elements from the original barn. The deck has a commanding view of the meadow. $225

Carriage House Suite 1 is one of the Inn's two luxurious suites. It is on the first floor of the Carriage House, with an impressive four-poster king bed, sitting area with love seat and wing chairs, a separate sitting room with a twin sleep sofa and second television, a tub/shower combination bath, plush robes, fireplace (in season) and desk. Its décor includes architectural elements from the original barn. The deck has flower boxes and overlooks the gardens. $295

Carriage House Suite 2 is one of the Inn's two luxurious suites. It is on the second floor of the Carriage House, with a king canopied bed, sitting area with love seat and wing chairs, a separate sitting room with a twin sleep sofa, a tub/shower combination bath with two sinks, plush robes, fireplace (in season) and a desk. Its décor includes architectural elements from the original barn. The deck has a hanging planter and a commanding view of the gardens. $295

Its soaring ceiling with wood beams give it an airy and warm ambiance. It has a sitting area with love seat and wing chairs, oversized 'rain forest' shower, plush robes, fireplace (in season), and desk. The deck, with its own garden (pink roses in late spring to early summer) and hanging flower planter, overlooks the gardens. $265

Carriage House 3 is one of the Inn's two deluxe rooms (and Rick's favorite room). It is on the first floor of the Carriage House, with a private entrance, four-poster king canopied bed, and no room above. Its cathedral ceiling, with wood beams and other architectural elements from the original barn, and palladium window, make it especially spacious and inviting. It has a sitting area with love seat and wing chairs, a tub/shower combination bath, plush robes, fireplace (in season), and desk. The private shaded deck, with a hanging flower planter and potted flowers, overlooks the gardens. $265

Carriage House 4 is on the second floor of the Carriage House. It has a queen canopied bed, oversized upholstered chairs, a tub/shower combination bath, and desk. Its deck, with potted flowers and a late-summer flowering clematis vine, has a commanding view of the gardens. $185

• Corporate and Business Travelers: The Inn gladly provides accommodations tailored to meet the needs of corporate and business travelers. Breakfast during the work week begins at 7AM, with somewhat earlier seatings available by advance arrangement. The Inn features high-speed wireless Internet in all rooms, as well as complementary local and long-distance phone service with voice mail. Please call to inquire about our discounted corporate and business rates.
• Our Reservation & Cancellation Policies:
  • We are a small business. Please understand that cancellations can affect us significantly. When a reservation is confirmed, the room(s) reserved cannot be booked by another guest, and the reservation is reflected on the "Availability" page of our website.
  • When you make a reservation, you agree to the following cancellation policy. You will recieve an e-mail confirmation of your reservation (or a written letter if requested) that re-states our reservation and cancellation policy.
  • We generally require a 2-night minimum stay on weekends (Friday and Saturday nights) from April through December. Occasionally, a 1-night stay on a weekend may be possible.
  • A reservation is not considered confirmed until a deposit has been received. For a 1, 2, or 3-night stay, a deposit equal to a 1-night stay is required. For a longer stay, a deposit equal to one-half of the reserved nights is required, rounded down in the case of an odd number of nights. All deposits are credited to the last night(s) of the reservation.
  • If you cancel your reservation 10 or more days before the date of arrival, your deposit will be refunded in full, less a cancellation fee of $20 per room reserved.
  • If you cancel your reservation less than 10 days before the date of arrival, you are responsible for the entire amount of reserved time, except to the extent we are able to re-book the cancelled room(s). A reservation made 9 or fewer days before the date of arrival is considered a guaranteed reservation and you are responsible for the entire amount of reserved time except to the extent we are able to re-book your room(s). The only exceptions are if an airport you are traveling through is closed, service is suspended on a rail line you are traveling, or if law enforcement authorities along your driving route are recommending that travelers stay off the roads due to severe weather conditions. In these cases, we will charge your credit card for any balance due and provide you with a Fairville Inn gift certificate for the full amount of your reserved time that will be valid for one year. The Gift Certificate is transferrable.
  • If your reservation is for 3 or more rooms, for a holiday period, or during a local special event, the same cancellation policy applies, except that the cancellation period is 30 days. Holiday periods are February 12-16, Memorial Day Weekend (Friday - Monday), July 2-6, Labor Day Weekend (Friday - Monday), Thanksgiving week (Sunday - Saturday), and December 23 - January 2. Special Local events include Winterthur's Point-to-Point Weekend (usually early May), and the Kennett Square Mushroom Festival (usually mid-September).
  • In all cases, we will do everything that we can to re-book a cancelled room.
• Smoking & Damages: There will be a cleaning charge of $250 if guest (or a guest's guest) smokes in a room or any Inn common area (smoking is permitted on decks and the grounds). Any damage, other than normal wear and tear, or furnishings removed from a room, will be the responsibility of the guest. Please note that wine and similar spills are NOT considered normal wear and tear. A $20 charge may be assessed if you lose your key or do not return it at check-out.
• Diet Restrictions: Please notify us in advance if you require special food preparation due to dietary preference or medical reason. We will be glad to make breakfast egg dishes with an egg substitute if you tell us of your needs in advance.
• Check-in time is from 3-9pm, and check-out time is by 11am. Please call us if you need to arrange an earlier or later check-in time, or a later check-out time.
• Children & Pets: People stay with us to relax and enjoy their surroundings. The Inn is not suitable for children under the age of 13 or pets of any kind.
