April 23, 2012 Spirit of Hospitality Awards hosted by the PA Tourism and Lodging Association - Tricia and Mike Andriaccio were selected as "Innkeepers of the Year" at the awards dinner.  We knew we were finalists but had no idea that we would actually win!  We are so proud of this accomplishment in only our 2nd year in our new career.  Our beautiful trophy is on display in the Snuggery.  Our thanks to Joe and Charlotte Heidt for nominating us and for putting their faith in us to continue the wonderful traditions of the Reynolds Mansion!

March is a great month to take in a concert here in Central PA. The Lincoln Center Orchestra with world famous Wynton Marsales will be gracing the stage on Friday, March 16th, at Eisenhower Auditorium.  And, our own Nittany Valley Symphony Orchestra is performing Tchaikovsky's Piano Concerto #1 and Mahler's Symphony #1 at the Eisenhower Auditorium on Tuesday, March 20th, 7:30pm. Tickets for both performances can be purchased online.
After the concert, take a 10 minute drive to Bellefonte to stay the night at the luxurious Reynolds Mansion. Death of Joe Paterno saddens Happy Valley, PA 23 Jan 2012, 3:37 pm

The owners of the Reynolds Mansion B&B in Bellefonte, PA, are sad to learn of the death of legendary football coach, Joe Paterno.  Although originally from NY, Tricia and Mike Andriaccio have become immersed in the Penn State traditions and what Joe Paterno meant to this community.  Respectfully, the Reynolds Mansion will be offering a 20% discount on a night's stay for anyone coming to either the viewing or memorial service this week.  The Reynolds Mansion is located 9 miles from State College, PA.

NY Room bath

The seventh guest room at the Reynolds Mansion B&B is almost complete.  The "New York" Room was inspired by the owners' love for  all that New York City has to offer.  In fact, all of the artwork was purchased on the streets of New York, mostly from sidewalk vendors and souvenir shops.  The ceiling fixture mimics an upside down skyscraper while the bathroom lighting, with it's filament bulbs, evokes images of the subway stations.  The original white subway tile, claw foot tub, and marble surrounds in the spacious bathroom seem to fit perfectly with the New York theme.  Please check out the rest of our pictures on our Facebook page as this room is not yet listed on the website.

The article entitled Bed Check: Reynolds Mansion in Bellefonte, PA, has created quite the stir!  The author  has accurately captured every aspect of our Bed and Breakfast including mentioning our "boys", Carmine and Tony.  She includes pictures, historical tidbits, room descriptions, and even the breakfast cuisine.  Mike and Tricia Andriaccio, owners/innkeepers, are so thrilled to be featured in the Washington Post and couldn't thank Becky Krystal enough for her review and recommendation.  Look for the framed article which will proudly be displayed in the first floor hallway on your next visit to Bellefonte, PA.

Reynolds Mansion Fire Sprinkler System Installed, Fire Sprinkler System installed in Historic Home 9 Jul 2011, 6:28 pm

The Reynolds Mansion B&B is the first historic bed and breakfast in Centre County to install a fire sprinkler system.  The entire mansion, including the basement and attic are now fully protected from fires.  Guests can rest peacefully knowing that they are safe in case of a fire emergency.  The Reynolds Mansion would like to thank Moore Fire Protection for their expert installation and the Borough of Bellefonte for all of their hard work getting our water lines connected.

"Bellefonte Cruise" Antique Car Show and Sock Hop, Bellefonte's 23rd Annual Cruise 18 May 2011, 1:32 pm
