Built in 1858 and birthplace of sculptor George Grey Barnard, our Bed and Breakfast has two guest rooms, The Rose Room and The Warwick Room. Each has a private bath and comfortable appointments. Guests can also enjoy our front sitting room, parlor, two outdoor porches, stone patio, and backyard gardens. Whether you are traveling to central Pennsylvania for one of the many attractions here in Bellefonte, a Penn State event, or just to relax, we will do everything we can to make your stay enjoyable. We are looking forward to seeing you!

The Rose RoomBuilt in 1858, The Barnard House Bed and Breakfast was the birthplace of George Grey Barnard, a famous American sculptor who was best known for his groups of statuary at the Capitol in Harrisburg. It is located three blocks from the center of Victorian Bellefonte, and within walking distance of many local attractions and restaurants. Penn State University is only 15 minutes driving distance away, and many of the guests who stay here attend events there such as football games and other sporting events, graduation, Parents' and moving in day, and reunions. We serve a full breakfast for guests each morning using our fine china and linens, and coffee, tea, and hot chocolate are available 24/7. Our guest rooms include air conditioning and have private baths.
The Rose Room is decorated in a floral motif with a queen-size iron bed and many antique furnishings. The Warwick Room has a British feel in honor of Barnard's medieval collection at the Cloisters in New York. This is a mini-suite with a full sized bed and a day bed, which is shown here to the right.
