Annwyn, cabin 3, is named after the Celtic legend. Annwyn is a realm where all things are possible and is not bound by the constraints of time nor space. It is the source of Celtic wisdom and the place where great deeds can be accomplished.

Annwyn gets good ambient light and feels like a small, stylish craftsman home.

Larger than the others, approximately 500 sf, with a separate bedroom and an extended living room, which can be separated by sliding doors. It has a lovely old Vermont Castings wood burning stove (we provide the wood and starter sticks). It is also slightly secluded from the other cabins. This makes Annwyn perfect for an extended stay, honeymoon suite or as a leader’s cabin of a small group.

The living area is a spacious 14' x 22' and is a comfortable, private place for meetings on a small scale. It has a stylish, roomy bathroom accessible from both rooms, with a large, walk-in slate shower. It has a top-of-the-line pillow-top Simmons queen-sized bed, a queen-sized Flex-Steel sofa bed (very comfortable) and two Lane Snugglers - plush loveseats that unfold to become twin beds, topped with featherbeds before making up. It can sleep six. Earthsea, cabin 5, is named after Ursula Le Guin's charming fantasy series about Earthsea, a unique land where people are taught to respect and harness their magical powers.

Earthsea gets a medium amount of ambient light and is kind of French Provential elegant, with a lot of reds, golds and soft greens.

Rosslyn, cabin 1, is named after the famous Scottish Chapel, Rosslyn Chapel, which is the subject of a truly fascinating collection of myth and legend. It is also a place of great earth power, the conjunction of two major ley lines.

Rosslyn has a very friendly personality, with playful, quirky artwork and a lot of ambient light, second only to Raintree.

Rosslyn is also wheelchair friendly. If you choose Rosslyn and don't need this option, we may need to switch your cabin before arrival if another guest does. Please let us know at time of booking if this option is important to you.

Raintree, cabin 2, is named after the legendary tree from the book, Raintree County, where it is said Johnny Appleseed planted it from a single, exotic seed. Legend has it that those who find the Raintree discover the realization of all dreams.

Raintree gets more light than any of the cabins and feels light and airy inside, with mid-tones woods, a soft earth palette and a casual elegance.

Barenton, cabin 4, is named after the spring in Barenton, Brittany, where Merlin met and fell in love with the enchantress Viviane.

Barenton is our most romantic cabin (with no cupids or doilies anywhere...), with a rich, elegant feel. It is the most remote of the regular-sized cabins and is nestled up against the tall trees, which means it gets less ambient light than any of the cabins. It feels like a cozy romantic getaway.
