The Inn's thirty-six acres offer bird watching, fishing, hiking, mountain biking, swimming, kayaking, rafting, or simply floating down river. The main building has a large common area and kitchen that's perfect for a large group or for entertaining. The separate Rock House cabin offers a comfortable space that is ideal for a family, couple or individual.     The Inn is nestled in the Siskiyou National Forest and near the Kalmiopsis Wilderness making it a hiker's and mountain biker's dream location. This area is also known as a botanical paradise, with a huge diversity of plant life. Each season at the Inn brings new qualities to enjoy. Spring brings a burst of flowers from the gardens, as well as the return of migrating birds. The nearby area is know for its bald eagle and osprey nests. Summer offers swimming and floating the river, or biking and hiking in the wilderness. In the fall, the maples turn to orange, and one may glimpse river otters or herons. Late fall and winter brings the rainstorms for which the Northwest is known. This is also the time for the anglers to catch their prize salmon or steelhead.     Driving Directions
    From the North - Hwy 101, pass through downtown Brookings. No. Bank Chetco River Rd. is on the north side at the mouth of the Chetco River. Turn left. (From the South - Hwy 101, pass over mouth of Chetco River to No. Bank Chetco River Rd, turn right) Drive along the Chetco River approximatly 30 minutes to reach the Inn. After passing Alfred Loeb State Park, drive over gravel washout, and continue over tributary bridge. Turn left at fork in road. Second driveway on left is The Chetco River Inn. Go through the gate and follow driveway down to the river staying to the left.
