Call us! Depend on us! There now, don’t you feel relieved? (oops, did it again).
"Every girl loves horses. My eight year old daughter is no exception and learning to ride drew her and me to our first Dude Ranch experience. We selected your services after some study and research, via the internet. I do not believe we could have made a better choice of dude ranches. We picked the best!"
"I’ve lived in Tulsa all my life and until recently had never heard of Meadowlake Ranch. My wife and I love exploring new places and seeing new faces. Recently we had the pleasure of staying at your B & B and we just wanted to say it was one of the best facilities we’ve ever stayed in. The cabins were clean and neat, the country breakfast was great. We’ll be back! "
Bill and Jan S.
"Jason and I just wanted to thank you for making our wedding so easy. You and your staff were great to work with. Our wedding came off without a hitch and all our guests had a great time. As you know I wasn’t sure there was going to be enough room, but even with over 250 guests there was room to spare. I’m going to tell all my friends that Meadowlake Ranch is the absolute best place to have their wedding. Thanks again for everything."
Jason and Liz S.
"When we were planning our trip to the states we researched a lot of dude ranches. Yours seemed to be the most reasonably priced and it was close to Route 66 which we also wanted to visit, so we picked you. I just want to say we had an excellent time on your ranch. We enjoyed the horseback riding and especially the shooting. We don’t get to do that here. Thank you again."
“Papa” (Peter) and Myra G.
"I’m not usually a letter writer, but my daughter and I just got back home from your ranch and I have to tell you that your horseback lesson was the best thing we’ve ever done together. On the way home we were still talking about it and Shannon said, ”Mom it was AWESOME!”. We want to come back soon for a trail ride. The horses were gentle and you were terrific. Thanks again."
Sissy & Shannon W.
"For the past six years I have traveled at least 30 weeks per year as a software installer. I’m usually gone 3-5 days per week and because I’m away from home so much I always ask my company to upgrade me from a hotel to a B and B when possible even if I have to pay the difference out of my own pocket. Being in a place that feels like a “home” instead of a sterile hotel room is worth the difference in price.
I just wanted to say that staying at Meadowlake Ranch with the lakes and fireplace and whirlpool and king bed is the first place that I’ve stayed that was BETTER than my home. Keep up the good work and I’ve already told my company that when we have another install in the Tulsa area to just book a cabin for me at your ranch and count me in! Thanks."
"When my church group put me in charge of finding something for our youth group to do together I was nervous. Then I saw your Dude for a Day thing online and it seemed like it was perfect. When I told everybody about it they were real excited and when we came out we had so much fun it was unbelievable. I just wanted to say thanks for letting us be dudes."
"Never stayed in a tipi (is that spelled right?) before. Didn’t know what to expect, but it was fun, fun, fun! The weather cooperated, your bathrooms were clean, the breakfast was way more than we could eat, Dennis and Tina were nice and the food was really good. Our favorite part was playing guitar and sitting around the campfire. It was really nice to meet you and we can’t wait to come back for our second anniversary."
Allen and Anna O.
"I own a house cleaning company and I’m a pretty tough critic of hotels and bed and breakfasts where I’ve stayed, but I have to compliment your cleaning staff, our room was sparkling clean. Beyond that the accommodations were excellent. I especially appreciated the “Java Dave’s” coffee. That was a nice touch. One of those extras that made my family and me feel welcome and cared for. Excellent hospitality. Thanks again, we’ll definitely stay here next time we come up to see John’s dad."
John, Helen, Ally and Michael
P.S.: The kids loved your hiking trails and Michael was really excited when he saw ducks on the lake next to our cabin. He said, “Are those Tom’s ducks?”

Savor the flavor of a real old west 'Dude Ranch' vacation.
You and your family will stay in your choice of a private lakeside log cabin, a bluff-top cabin or Indian teepee. Let the songbirds and sounds of nature gently awaken you from one of the best night's sleep you've had in a long time. On a ranch, the animals come first. If you're an early riser you can help us feed the horses, goats, mule, dogs, peacock, pheasants, quail and any other critters that wander in. After we feed the animals, we feed the guests.
Your day starts with a big ol' country breakfast, then we head up to the stables to saddle our horses for a morning trail ride. After that, we will throw tomahawks, shoot a bow & arrow and rope a straw steer.
After lunch, you can try your hand at fishing, canoeing, swimming or just lazing in the hammocks listening to the sweet serenade of our resident songbirds. Some guests even like to try their hand at being a ranch hand... building fences, training horses, planting trees and other ranch chores. Working the ranch is NOT required, but you're welcome to pitch in if you want to.*
How about a grilled BBQ buffalo burger for supper? Or one of a series of sumptuous meals we prepare for you. Save room for a 'light' dessert... like marshmallows roasted over an open campfire in our lakeside firepit, under a neverending sea of stars.
Next morning we'll saddle up and head for the open trail. After your ride, we'll mosey over to the gun range where you can try your hand at shooting a lever action rifle and single action pistol just like the guns of the old west, or we'll go on a hayride or try our hand at shooting life-size foam animal targets in our 3-D archery range. Targets include a mountain lion, turkey, wild boar, 12 point buck, raccoon, coyote and you can even climb into a boat and shoot an alligator in the creek.
Live nearby? No time for an overnight stay? Just passin' through? We offer Dude for a Day, Ranch Hand for a Day, Trail rides, Fishing, Hiking & Biking, Canoeing, Pistol & Rifle Shooting, Tomahawk Lessons, Bow & Arrow Lessons, 3-D Archery Range, Straw Calf Roping, Picnicking, Hayrides, Wildlife & Birdwatching and more! (Certain activities may be available by the hour, half day or full day).
