Whether traveling on business or seeking a romantic retreat, you will find a haven in The Manor. Located in historic Central Norman, four blocks from the University of Oklahoma. The house was built in 1896, seven years after the Land Run of 1889, when the University was only six years old.
Wet bar, microwave and refrigerator stocked with complimentary beverages. Step outside and listen for the cheers from the stadium when OU scores. Sit in the rocker and have a smoke if you like.
"Delightful and Decadent!" The night before our wedding, my then fiancee and myself were given the gift of a night at the Manor Bed & Breakfast. We could not have imagined a better way to spend the time before our special day! The night so romantic and peaceful, with more treats than we knew what to do with. The owners left us a bottle...

"Absolutely Wonderful (period)" Every detail was accounted for, from a sewing kit to snacks galore. Breakfast was fantastic and the place was full of charm. Traveling with a friend from Australia, for whom this was her first visit to the "middle" of the country, having a glass of local wine and a box of Cracker Jacks made this not only a wonderful accommodation...

"Excellent Service and cozy stay" 02/23/2011I would highly recommend this bed and breakfast, its the only room in the place, so you get top quality treatment. Betsy and Doyle are amazing hosts, greet you at your car and made fresh warm cookies. Customized breakfasts and toured the room with all the extra little touches you would want to know about. Excellent water pressure and lots of hot water, something lacking in some bed and breakfasts. Only downside would be the traffic since they are right off main, kinda noisey waking up to that, but not too bad.
"Excellance" 05/17/2010
The accommodations at Prairie Crossings were much more than we had anticipated. My husband and I were treated like royalty. Friends of ours recommended the bed and breakfast for a place to stay when we went to Norman to tour the University of Oklahoma with our son. The location was walking distance to the university,as well as historic downtown. The room was beautifully decorated; as if we we were at our own home. The food was 5 star quality, the atmosphere was peaceful, and tranquil. We did not have to ask for any thing, Dale and Betsy Bishop; the owners, gave us a 5 star experience we will never forget and recommend this place to even the pickiest of travelers. We will always stay at Prairie Crossings, when we go to Norman and my husband and I have even made reservations for our own romantic get away....
