Hobart Bed and Breakfasts
Hobart is a friendly, down-home community in the heart of southwest Oklahoma. You can find it 40 miles south of I-40 on US-183. Visitors can find several rustic Hobart B&B establishments to choose from. Each year the Hobart Chamber of Commerce holds the annual Chamber banquet. The banquet always features a speaker that has a personal tie to Hobart. The Kiowa County Fair is held annually the weekend after Labor Day in September at the Kiowa County Fairgrounds. From the livestock judging to all the goodies from Grandma's kitchen, the County Fair renews the community spirit of all who attend. The Quartz Mountain Lake and Lodge is a little bit of heaven in southwestern Oklahoma. Located only 18 miles southwest of Hobart, the state-owned resort features restaurants and lodging along with a recreational lake for swimming, fishing, and water sports. Hunter Park is located in the northwestern part of Hobart and has long been a source of pride, as well as entertainment, for the people of Hobart. The park was established in the 1920's by one of the early-day mayors, and was developed by the Civilian Conservation Corps in the early 1930's. You can always find a nearby Hobart bed and breakfast or inn to make your stay complete. Then eat at Roy's Backyard BBQ and Grill, a popular Hobart favorite with great food and people. The Main Street Grill has it all including great burgers, sandwiches, and the crowd-pleasing Friday Night All You Can Eat Fish!
