Guthrie Bed and Breakfasts
Guthrie is located halfway between Oklahoma City and Tulsa. If you visit in late November or in December, you can participate in the Territorial Christmas Festival. It kicks off the day after Thanksgiving. So remember to book your Guthrie bed and breakfast early. The town also offers Historic Trolley Tours, and Guthrie is home to the world's largest Scottish Rite Masonic Temple. Popular attractions along Oklahoma Avenue include: the Oklahoma Sports Museum, the Oklahoma Frontier Drug Store Museum, and the National Four String Banjo Hall of Fame Museum. Dine at the Blue Bell Saloon for down-home cooking with all the fixings. Or try Granny Had One, an old fashioned eatery with a large menu selection. The places offers lunch and dinner buffets and is known for making daily servings of fresh-baked bread. You might choose from a Guthrie B&B or inn, many of which are right near the shops, restaurants, and museums. After all, Guthrie has been referred to as the “bed and breakfast capital” of Oklahoma.
