Enjoy a midnight swim or a relaxing soak in our deluxe hydrotherapy spa. Both the pool and spa are surrounded by the house, pool house, and 6' redwood fencing for complete privacy from the outside world. Our large in-ground swimming pool  is the perfect place to spend a hot Oklahoma day or night. One of our guest rooms have direct access to the pool and hot tub!

Soak your cares away at the end of the day in the hydrotherapy spa. There are 51 jets in this 500-gallon spa, creating a tingling oasis of hydrothermal pleasure. Multi-colored, ever-changing fiber optic lights surround the interior of the spa and waterfall for the truly extraordinary tropical experience!

Our 4-acre vineyard has 3,500 grapevines, which includes 9 varieties of wine grapes.

We became "empty nesters" the summer of 2002 and felt the rooms of our home were entirely too quiet.  We embarked on a memorable journey in the winter of 2004 and have never looked back.

We opened our home and hearts to guests as close as Atoka, Oklahoma to as far away as the Italy and Hawaii.  We began making wines in 2005 and shared them with our guests who requested to purchase them.  In October 2010 Wakefield Winery officially opened its doors for business.

Steve manages the vineyards and winery.  Pam is a Family and Consumer Sciences (Home Economics) teacher at Ada High School and manages the inn.

We offer a full country breakfast plus a 4-course dinner and a glass of wine preceeded wih wine tasting and appetizers.

Our all-inclusive 2-day packages include all three meals.  We have an on-site winery and tasting room serving our award-winning wines.
 

Our meals are not gourmet...remember your grandmother's cooking?  Your fondest memories were around her kitchen table.  We'll take you back in time and serve the comfort food you remember so well.  Upon your arrival enter your room to the sweet aroma of a 1/2 dozen of Pam's fresh baked chocolate chip cookies.

We are an adults-only bed and breakfast located near Gerty, Oklahoma.  We offer complete privacy with a gated entrance.

Walk hand-in-hand through our 4-acre vineyard.  Swim in our secluded in-ground pool surrounded by a sun deck to work on your tan. Soak your cares away in our hydrotherapy spa before scheduling a relaxing massage.

For the great outdoorsman, schedule a round of fishing and skeet shooting.

We offer three individually decorated guest rooms; Pure Elegance, Morning Glory, and Victorian Rose within the comfort of our country inn.

The Wakefield's have been in the farming business for over 30 years. Steve is managing the vineyards and winery.  Pam is a Family and Consumer Sciences teacher at Ada High School. Steve and Pam have two children, Nate and Stefanie. Nate and his wife Jennifer live in Tulsa and Stefanie and her husband Michael live in Oklahoma City.

Coming From Dallas:
Take Highway 75 north to Atoka, Oklahoma. Highway 75 turns left on the north side of Atoka. Continue on Highway 75 out of Atoka to Coalgate. Going through Coalgate, Highway 75 turns left. Continue on Highway 75 for 3 miles and then Highway 75 turns right. From there, go approximately 18 miles north. You will turn right on the gravel road at the Gerty road sign. You will also see the Wakefield Country Inn sign as well as the Camp WOW billboard sign. Come down the gravel road 3 miles.  You will continue to see our signs at the 1-1/2 miles and at 1/2 mile intervals.  You will see our vineyards next to the road and our Inn is just 300 feet off the road.  Turn right at our sign. Take Highway 75 south from Interstate 40. Stay on Highway 75 to Calvin, Oklahoma. From Calvin stay on Highway 75 south approximately 9 miles until you see the Gerty road sign.  You will also see our Wakefield Country Inn sign as well as the Camp WOW billboard sign. Take a left onto a gravel road.  Come down the gravel road 3 miles.  You will continue to see our signs at the 1-1/2 mile and 1/2 mile intervals.  You will see our vineyards next to the road and our Inn is just 300 feet off the road.  Turn right at our sign.  See you soon!
