Lake Breeze Inn is conveniently located just 30 minutes from downtown Cleveland , 30 minutes to Cedar Point amusement park and 30 minutes from Hopkins Airport. We are 3 miles from the Lorain high speed ferry to Put-N-Bay and Kellys Island. Fine dining is just 5 minutes away offering several up-scale or casual restaurants to choose from. Huntington Beach and Lorain Beach are only 10 minutes away and the Lorain Marina, where charters are available, is just 5 minutes from our door. Other activities in the area include wineries, museums, galleries, theaters, and antique shopping. Bicycling and jogging trails are available right outside our door.. If you enjoy diving or snorkeling, the shipwreck of the "Sarah Sheldon" is only 1/4 mile off our property.
Relaxing Outside
Situated directly on Lake Erie this beautiful B&B features cool lake breezes and romantic lake sunsets. Enjoy a glass of wine while lounging on one of the terraced decks or in the hot tub. Savor morning coffee in the gazebo or by the fireplace with panoramic views of the lake. Our large rooms also offer fabulous views of Lake Erie right from your bed. The sound of waves will lull you to sleep at night. Eclectic pieces and parts have been arranged throughout the Inn; they are many personal treasures that give the inn a very warm and cozy feel. Many of the furniture pieces have been passed down from generations of the Innkeepers' families. After purchasing the property, demolishing the old house, building a new one and selecting the name, 'Lake Breeze Inn', the Innkeepers discovered that about one hundred years ago there had been a 'Lake Breeze Inn' just down the road.

DIRECTIONS TO LAKE BREEZE INN FROM WEST (TOLEDO); Exit Turnpike(I80) at Baumhart Road exit. Go north (left) onto Baumhart and take it till it dead ends into U.S. Route 6. Go east (right) on Route 6 about 10 miles until you see a Pizza Hut on the lake side of the road. We are about four doors past.
4233 Lake Road, Sheffield Lake, Oh. 44054FROM EAST (CLEVELAND and ERIE,PA.); Take I90 west (towards Toledo) and exit at Route 611, also known as Colorado Road. Turn right at exit and drive approximately 1-2 miles until you get to Route 301, also known as Abbe Road. Turn right (north) onto Route 301 and take it till it dead ends into Lake road (Route 6), then turn left (west). We are 1.8 miles on the right side (lake side).
FROM SOUTH (COLUMBUS); Take I71 north. Exit at exit 196, the West Salem exit. Go north on Route 301. This will be a two lane road for 25 miles. Be careful to follow the signs for Route 301 as the next 15 miles it will make 3 turns on four lane roads, then it will dead end into Lake Road (Route 6). Turn left onto Lake Road. We are 1.8 miles on the right side (lake side).
FROM SOUTH (AKRON-CANTON); Take I77 till you get to I490. Take the I490 exit west (towards Toledo). Be careful to avoid the I480 exit off of I77. I490 will go straight into I90 which you take until you get to Route 611, also known as Colorado Road. Turn right at exit and drive approximately 1-2 miles until you get to Route 301, also known as Abbe Road. Turn right (north) onto Route 301 and take it till it dead ends into Lake road (Route 6), then turn left (west). We are 1.8 miles on the right side (lake side).
