Farrell House Lodge is an 1890's replica of a southern mansion tempered by a gracious lifestye. It is an ideal getaway retreat located a few miles southwest of Sandusky, Ohio on the grounds of Sunnybrook Trout Club. It is tucked away on 130 acres of scenic woodlands that are kept as a nature conservancy. Its pastoral meadows and the surrounding landscape play host to an abundance of wildlife. Winding through the property is a two mile stretch of Ohio's legendary Cold Creek, a crystal clear stream that never freezes.
Farrell House offers ten comfortable guest rooms, including 3 fireplace suites. A free standing cabin, restored from an early 1900's grainery barn, is also available for multiple day rentals.
Nearby, in the greater Sandusky area, are many attractions such as the Cedar Point Amusement Park, several waterparks, the Sandusky Carousel Museum, Lake Erie Islands, charter boat fishing, golf courses, nature trails, and the Hayes Presidential Museum.

GREAT HOUSE AND BEAUTIFUL PROPERTY
“We had such a great time at Farrell House. Doug was very nice and gave us a full tour of the lodge. In addition to a beautiful house the property is gorgeous. Even if you don’t fish it is well worth wandering across the bridges and through the willow trees. If you enjoy floating around the pond there are kayaks, a canoe and a row boat to us for free.”
EVERYTHING WAS SUPERB!
“Our stay at the Farrell House Lodge was super! Doug was a perfect host and Peggy did a wonderful job catering to our needs. The weather was perfect and the house was exceptional with perfect décor and a wonderful place for a peaceful couple of days to relax. My wife and I didn’t stay on the property every minute; we did take in some sites in Sandusky and Marble head, but we made sure to take advantage of what Sunny Brook offered. We had great walks across the 130 acres of the farm, strolled along the creek and saw close to 100 trout of all sizes, fished the lake (caught two bass), saw the beautiful old Oak tree and enjoyed sitting out on on the deck in the evening. The room we stayed in was gorgeous with a king size bed, wonderful fireplace and plenty of room. We went after the Labor Day weekend so the place was pretty much empty of overnighters but there were several people fishing the creek each morning and evening and we saw several trout pulled out and gently returned to the stream. If you’re looking for a beautiful country setting, stroll through nature and convenience of the city (less than 10 minutes to most sites); then we highly recommend you spend a couple of nights at the lodge. V&R”
“My husband and I have just completed our third stay at Farrell House Lodge. We have been there in the winter and now spring. It doesn’t matter when you go it is always a thrill. The grounds are absolutely fabulous. The food and service is five star. If you are looking for a little romantic get away this is the place.”
