Travelers are always looking for memorable and relaxing experiences. Let’s discover more through the words of our innkeepers. Many thanks to Dave and Jennifer Kneuss for sharing his own secrets with BBOnline.com! Why do most travelers stay at your inn?
Our guests stay with us at Clara’s because they absolutely LOVE the true “country” location and our fabulous back deck view of gorgeous farmland in the Appalachian foothills – yet we are just a few miles from a major Interstate, so access is easy. We are also just moments from at least 50 tourist attractions, museums, and other amazing opportunities for our visitors.
What are you best known for? What makes your inn unique? What do you love most about your inn?
Our bed and breakfast is known for truly personal service – after all, we are a one unit B & B, so we can give our FULL focus to one gust group at a time. Our B&B is decorated with authentic antique family mementos, all in a charming “shabby-chic” style. Also, our guests can opt for a hot breakfast delivered to their door OR a pre-placed Continental breakfast – whichever they prefer. After all, there are several truly famous Amish restaurants nearby with sumptuous breakfast buffets that our guests love to experience. We truly love the opportunity to serve our guests, and it shows!
If someone has never been to your city, what is the #1 reason to come visit?
Our area is truly beautiful – rolling green hills, numerous creeks flowing through our farmlands, an Ohio River tributary (the Tuscarawas River)…and yet we are truly less than 20 minutes from an unbelievable array of attractions, museums, and exceptional tourist and entertainment opportunities. I would say that MOST come because of our much-loved Amish Country attractions, just 10-20 minutes to our west.
What’s the best compliment you have ever received about the inn?
People LOVE the warm and friendly, personalized service we offer, yet they have their own private cottage. They have raved about how helpful we have been in assisting them with their itinerary and helpful tips and suggestions, as well as how they immediately feel comfortable and “at home”.
What’s the best kept secret about the area?
You could truly stay here, on the borderline of Tuscarawas and Holmes Counties, for a full week and STILL not see and do all that we have to offer! That’s probably why we are a popular repeat tourism destination. Plus, everything is extremely affordable – our guests rave about this frequently.
