Moonshadow Bed & Breakfast

MoonShadow Bed & Breakfast is situated on five wooded acres among huge oaks and set back from a quiet country road in rural Pickaway County. MoonShadow is the perfect place to get away and enjoy a rejuvenating change of pace. Standing at the front door and looking out across the farm fields, one would never know that you're just an easy, 30-minute drive south from downtown Columbus, Ohio.

MoonShadow Bed & Breakfast offers four guest rooms. Plush bath robes are furnished for guests' convenience, as well as an AM/FM clock radio and CD player. A bedtime snack will be provided upon request. Guests with wireless compatible, laptop computers have access to DSL internet service in their rooms.

A large garden and patio area with a chiminea is available for relaxation and conversation, or you may choose to stroll the grounds and find a quiet spot for some private time. The front porch is an excellent place to watch the sunset. If you prefer inside to outside, enjoy a DVD or CD in the great room with its 51" big screen TV and Bose sound system, or settle into an overstuffed chair with your favorite author.

Breakfast is included with overnight accommodations and served 6:45 - 7:30 on weekdays. A later breakfast time may be arranged on weekends. A continental breakfast is served on most weekdays, while a full breakfast is available on weekends. A deli style box lunch is available to go for an additional fee with appropriate advance notice. A mini-fridge is adjacent to guest rooms and available for cold beverages. Guests are asked not to eat in their rooms.

A wildlife preserve is next door to MoonShadow Bed & Breakfast, and Deer Creek State Park is just six miles away. Deer Creek State Park offers upscale dining, golf, hiking, swimming, horseback riding, boating, fishing and hunting among other activities. For bicycling enthusiasts, there are virtually hundreds of miles of low traffic country roads nearby, and MoonShadow Bed & Breakfast is a great place to start and finish your ride. Maps and brochures for local attractions are provided to help you plan trips regardless of your choice in transportation.
