    The Spitzer House Bed & Breakfast is located four blocks from the square in historic Medina, Ohio. The gazebo, library, restaurants, gift shops, pubs, antiques, salon, spa, fine dining, and The AI Root's candle outlet and factory are all within an easy walk.

    The Spitzer House is a Victorian beauty hosting 3 guest bedrooms, all with private baths. Built in 1890 by a team of builders for Brigadier General Ceilan Milo Spitzer. General Spitzer and his cousin Adelbert were known throughout the country for organizing the first Bond Houses in the United States outside of New York. This German Renaissance home remained in the Spitzer Family for seventy years, and is a fine example of the Queen Anne architecture with Eastlake design. The Spitzer House has two cherry staircases, two ten foot tall cherry entrance doors, stained glass windows, 4 fireplaces/stoves, original warm pine floors, cherry and oak woodwork throughout.
