    Fraley House Bed & Breakfast - Granville, Ohio Welcome to the casual, country comfort of the Fraley House Bed and Breakfast. Recognized in Arrington's Inn Traveler as one of the top bed and breakfasts in Ohio. The Fraley House is located in the Village of Granville, Ohio. Granville is a quaint little New England village nestled in the heart of Ohio. Granville is also home to Denison University. The university sits on the hillside overlooking the village. There are several public golf courses within 10 miles of Granville and a variety of antiquing opportunities; it is also nearby the Longaberger Basket Company, The Homestead Village and its nationally known golf course. For those who love outdoor activities the Fraley House is located near an entrance of the Thomas J. Evans Bike Trail one of Ohio's many Rail Trails. It is a twenty plus mile hiking/biking trail going from Newark to Johnstown. One often sees a variety of wildlife along the trail.
    The Fraley House is a replica of an 1800's New England colonial home Part of its charm is stepping back in time and enjoying many of the antiques, yet having the amenities of modern day living. Each guest room has a private bath. In the morning one can sit by the large brick fireplace in the kitchen or enjoy watching the sunrise while sitting on the porch with that first cup of coffee. A homemade hearty country breakfast is served in the dining room. For those who just want to relax the swimming pool and hot tub/spa provide an inviting atmosphere.     The Fraley House is just minutes away from downtown Granville and conveniently located near all the area attractions and activities. Granville, Ohio is located approx. 30 miles northeast of Columbus, Ohio, less than 10 miles north of Interstate 70 (Exit 126 - Granville-Lancaster) on Route 37N. To get to the downtown Granville area, take 37N over the Rt. 16 overpass until you reach Broadway. Turn right on Broadway for most shops, banks, inns and offices.

    Port Columbus International Airport is about 22 miles from Granville and is served by most major airlines. Driving time to and from the airport is about 40 minutes via I-270 and 161.

    The Granville Room

    The Granville Room is a spacious room with a queen sized bed, a single bed and a small sitting area that over looks the swimming pool and backyard. It has an overstuffed chair that invites you to settle in and relax. The room rate is $99 single/double occupancy.

    The Patio Suite

    The Patio Suite is the newest addition to the Fraley House. Very bright and spacious, it is on the first floor and includes a private entrance. The charm of the 1800's house continues on with this room, but the addition of skylights, fireplace and a whirlpool tub in the bathroom enhances that charm. The Patio Suite has a queen size bed in the bedroom and an overstuffed loveseat that converts into a single bed in the sitting room. On those lovely spring, summer and autumn evenings you can sit on the patio and enjoy the amazing sunsets. It is the perfect setting for a quiet, relaxing weekend get-a-way. $139.00 per night

    		 The Suite

    The Suite consists of two rooms. The bedroom has a queen size bed and is decorated in soft greens with a touch of magnolias. The adjoining sitting room has a fireplace where you can relax by a fire and take a nap, read your favorite book or watch TV. It is also furnished with a sofa bed for an extra guest. The suite is ideal for a quiet weekend or an extended stay. $139.00 per night

     

    The Garden Room

    The Garden Room takes you back in time with its antique bedroom suite. It is bright and cheery; stenciled with flowers for that springtime feeling throughout the year. $85 single/double occupancy.
