The Edward Howard Room
In 1822 George Howard and his three sons became the first white settlers in Gilead, now the village of Grand Rapids. The Edward Howard, a Colonial style room, is the largest room, furnished with a king size bed, a four season fireplace, private bath, as well as a sitting area. The room also includes cable TV and a DVD player. The walls are hand painted with sunflowers and straw flowers.
Rates for the Edward Howard Room: Sunday through Thursday: $110; Friday through Saturday: $120

The Garden Room
This room has several windows overlooking the gardens, canal, and the Maumee River. It has a private entrance and is furnished with a queen sized bed. Private breakfasts are accommodated with a table and chairs in the room. Private bath has shower and one person jetted tub. Decorations are coordinated with a garden theme. This a perfect place for your honeymoon, anniversary, or any special occassion. Rates for the Garden Room: Sunday through Thursday: $130; Friday through Saturday: $140

The Ruth Thomas Room
Named for a late nineteenth century Grand Rapids resident who ran a millinery and dressmaking establishment, this room features a mix of antiques and hand painted items. This room is furnished with a queen sized bed and a twin bed. Hand painted geraniums adorn the walls of this room. Private bath, Cable TV, and DVD player is included.
Rates for the Ruth Thomas Room: Sunday through Thursday: $100;
Friday through Saturday: $100
The Tee-Na-Beek Room
Named for the last male Ottawa Indian in this area, this intimate room is furnished with a full sized bed. Antiques and hand painted walls give the room a garden atmosphere. Private bath, Cable TV, and DVD player is included.

- Check in: 4 - 9 PM. If this is not convenient, we will be glad to make other arrangements with advance notification.
- Check out: 11 a.m. (Depending on arrival of other guests, we are very flexible on check in/out times.)
- Reservations are usually made in advance and need to be held with a $50 deposit.
- A 7 day cancellation notice is required for a refund.
- For a full house (rental of entire inn) cancellation, a 30 day notice is required for a refund.
